This show was ahead of its time. Late 80s and early 90s they were already tacking on issues like bulimia/anorexia and the social pressure that leads into it.

I felt terrible for DJ for wanting to look beautifuler without feeling like she's fat I understand that feeling she's more pressed about being smaller but thinner then to be big so she'd healthier.But I think what she was doing to starve her self was very stupid and dangerous it's always good to watch what she eats but,not good to starve yourself that's not the proper way to handle a situation.Anorexia will do no good for no body but with the right type perspectives and healthy eating habits she would have been alright.Stephanie done the right telling by tell their dad about her problem she could have made her self very stop if she didn't stop.

On the outside, maybe but the question is does the inside match and there’s one thing I’ve learned many people look beautiful or handsome and outside, but does the inside match the outer shell if you know what I mean?

Stephanie was a good sister in this episode for caring about DJ’s health and well-being, as she does not want to see her sister destroying herself by not eating and look after her body. What she did was good, what did DJ make Stephanie promise. Is a dangerous and risk thing for DJ to make Stephanie keep from her family, What she did was a good decision because she doesn’t want to see her sister to have a problem in the long run. Or even worse death. I’m glad Stephanie finally spoke out as that save DJ life.

I understand that dj wants to be skinny and doesn't like the way she looked, believe me i wanted to be thinner as i can be. But to do that, u have to at least eat something healthy and exercise perfectly other than that be yourself. It doesn't matter what you look on the inside, its what matters on the outside too! As for Stephanie on this episode, i know she's concerned for her sister although they fight all the time. But still loves her the same

Are you joking? DJ would have gotten really sick if she didn't tell
@o_huskywolfdean73 ай бұрын
Well, in that situation. This is more serious situation that her sister health, is at risk and reaching a serious problems. If Stephanie did kept her shut, DJ could had put her health in risk. Or she could have reach died. I would have done the same thing to my sibling, if they went through something like that. I don’t care if they want to talk or trust me ever again. I’d rather save their life than to bury them 6 feet, under then didn’t spoke out sooner to help them.

I hate everyone in this episode because they want DJ to look bad and be nice in a too nice fashion on the inside. That moral, "Beauty is only on the inside", is some honesty due to people being judgemental.

A Hurt one and I watched it many times, and yet the so-called "heartwarming" scenes have "DJ must be fat" written all over it. I thought it was disrespectful to call people fat or when it comes to weight loss. There might be chubby people needing to slowly lose any of those unwanted pounds. #howrude

The older I get the more I realize how much bs this episode was. You don’t have to eat food every minute of every day. There’s a reason why obesity is a major issue in America today. Nothing wrong with skipping a few meals.

I’ve seen the signs because the same thing happened to a girl I went to school with some jerk wad called her a fat pig and take a while. Guess what happened after that every time lunch came she didn’t eat for three days and I didn’t find out about this until I asked, my friend who was also her friend and said a guy called her fat so I told the teachers the guy got punished for it and she started eating again. This is not the way to go about it. It’s an exercise lay off the snacks but don’t deny yourself food, you know what happens if you don’t eat your brain starts to eat your muscles and that is not good
