I'll give a California-style comment. Dude, you rule! I can't believe that you've done all this all alone with no help from anyone else. You are the renovation god. Congratulations. I think you've done an amazing job of creating a lovely home for yourself. I own a 1,400-square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house and it's way too big for me. I wish I had something smaller, but with more outdoor space. I love the orchard, and that you can have chickens and a nice vegetable garden. You're living my dream.

Your garden is amazing. Your home will be great once it's finished, I love how you are putting a lot of storage in. In my next house, which is in the future, I definitely want it to have a pantry and a cupboard in the bathroom. Xx

Great work shows what can be achieved with some old school hard labour. I'm looking to get a place down south for the better temperatures because of my health, you have given me a good insight as to what to take on. Good luck thank you

I am quite new to the channel, but wow what a magnificent piece of land with a super cute house, I totally agree that you don’t need a fortune in the bank to create a piece of heaven. Well done Marc you should be proud of yourself and all you have achieved. I for one am very envious, if it wasn’t for the 90 day rule 🤬 I’d probably be doing the exact same. But well done sir 👍🏻 it’s amazing.

Hi Marc thanks for the tour it maybe better to keep a shower rather than a bath as much cheaper using less water you have to heat.I I have a shower over the bath and worked out I could have over a weeks worth of showers to one bath in costs and water used and here in the UK with escalating gas and electricity charges it makes sense.
@GoingsoloinFrance12 күн бұрын
Yes I definitely want to keep a shower :-)

Interesting summary - your overall floor space is very similar to mine, in an apartment, but laid out very differently. And I don't know why so many people want bathtubs! If I were going to change one thing about my bathroom, which I generally like, it would be to take out the tub and put in a shower. The tub has a shower - which it what I always use - but a walk-in shower would be so much easier to get in and out of. I can't remember the last time I took a bath instead of a shower. But I can't face the trouble and expense of having that done when the current bath-with-shower is functional.

You said it Marc you need to look after your fencing. Posts are in the ground but, where is the wire in-between the posts?. Your future dog and cat 🐾 🐕 🐈 will have a full day running into neighbouring gardens or plots of land nearby. But, Marc you've bought a bargain their haven't you three acres of land under 20,000 euros. That's an absolute bargain. All the very best to you whatever, your plans are with the land. Amazing good for you. ❤❤😊

Can you dig the self seeded Oak tree and replant it in the nature area? It would be more suitable for that area and it seems a shame to lose it .

New viewers won't have any idea about the near death experiences you had with the rug and the set of drawers, maybe you should attach some of the relevant videos.
