Yes, but I’m afraid the people of California will only receive the same assistance as NC & TN from the govt- which is NONE. The only help they’re truly gotten is from churches and private organizations. Insurance companies are already canceling coverage in California so the majority will not be able to rebuild. That’s the plan though. What’s sad is our country has the technology to cloud seed & create rain that could either stop the rain or reduce its devastation, but they won’t use it because they want those people out of that area just like NC & TN. Many prayers needed right now as our nation is going under judgment as well as the rest of the world🙏🏼

I was driven around the King Lake area in 2010 (?) after the fires. Miles and miles of devastation. Took most of the day to drive around it. The family we visited escaped because of a change of wind. (Or the grace of G-d, take your pick.) PS I hate huntsmens. 🙂

I was in Australia's Capital city, Canberra, for the 2003 bushfire that burnt whole neighbourhoods. I'll never forget the sirens, the black smoke, the terror. This is bringing back memories of that. Some fire stations have no power. The hard working firefighters are having to bring their generators and camping lanterns to operate the station. The city couldn't think of providing rental generators to keep the station running? This is how much the mayor cares about the firefighters. All fires have been devastating. The ones in IE during Sept 2024 were devastating. Just because they happen to her fellow co-workers or former neighbors. Wrightwood/Mt High areas had to run out of their homes, too. Alert systems for fires and fighting them in extreme wind driven situations should be up their with tornado sirens in high brush density areas.
