Fans who were calling for ETH to be sacked for the same reasons as every other manager since Fergie just don't understand the root of the problems at the club... LVG and Jose told us the issue - Complete lack of a skilled recruitment and scouting team. Bringing in these guys is bigger than any player or manager signing we could make. Ten Hag is an excellent coach (we saw that at Ajax) but his talent ID is poor, so to just let him coach and let others handle scouting and recruitment will be huge. I'm optimistic. The irony is that Ralk Rangnick would have been perfect as part of this team but the Glazers and these players made him look like a clueless fool.

Whatever we think and feel about Chelsea, they have just made the signing Man United should have made. Marc Guiu, 18 y.o. nr 9 from La Masia Barcelona, who Barcelona wanted to extend because they saw a great nr 9 in him for the future, was signed by Chelsea for ONLY 6 million euro!!!!!! His salary will be peanuts compared to Zirkzee's salary. Why, how come Man United didn't pick up on Guiu, and on Guiu's desire to play in the EPL???!!! Even at Barca they say Guiu is probably more suited for the EPL than la Liga. We missed out on a massive opportunity. Guiu had some performances in Barca's first team and showed promising and also scored. What a pity! Where's the smarts and scouting of this INEOS team???!!!

I think Heineken owned Beavertown are linked with Spurs so I wouldn't go down that route but strangely whilst researching I noticed Ineos Grenadier are a sponsor of Spurs! There are better craft beers out there Sam, my favourite are Vocation but they're from Yorkshire so might struggle there. For a decent Manchester based craft beer you can't go wrong with Cloudwater. Give them a shout maybe?

42 million will only be a good deal if we manage to get 42 games per season out of de Ligt for each season he signs. Bayern Munich have a strong track record of selling players with injury concerns. Not many players every leave Bayern and improve their careers.

As long as De Ligt is willing to renegotiate his salary to under 200k/w, I'd take absolutely take him for £42m with some add-ons. I think there's still a great player there.

I think Vivell is short term because we want dougie freedman long term. Just a hunch, I could be wrong. Everyone can agree Palace is cooking in term of players. Most big clubs are interested with their players and a few weeks ago Dougie was spotted with SAF.

A lot of people say “how come they are no signings yet” the reasons no player has signed yet is because we needed a structure to bring them in at the right price without that it would be no different to Arnold, murtough and Woodward we can’t bring players in Willy nilly without the structure from on and off the pitch it doesn’t take a scientist to figure that out hats off to Ineos for getting a proper footballing structure as we could possibly be better in the transfer windows. Possibility No 2 the transfer targets are playing international competitions such as the copa America and the euros clubs usually don’t accept bids instantly for established international players till after the Competitions is over as transfer prices go up and down depending on form in the international competitions or the player simply wants to focus on international football till the euro or Copa America competitions is over then clubs accepts bids or terms after it’s over
