The greatest band ever! While everyone in my high school in the later 70’s was playing Journey, Aerosmith, etc I came slamming in the parking lot in my 70 ‘Cuda blaring AC/DC!!! Everyone was asking “who in the Hell is that?!” I said the best band ever!!! AC/DC!!! I have been hooked since the mid 70’s! I have went thru divorce, loss of family, my own diagnosis of prostate cancer and the likes and this band’s music has powered me thru all of it!!! And what do I listen too today ... why AC/DC of course! Thank you for this wonderful gift of music lads!!! Rock on forever!!!

@@monikhushalpuri mine was originally a 318 car in the 70’s. A buddy of mine had a 440 ‘Cuda he wrecked in the early 80’s. I got to pull all the good parts and put them on my car. Now it’s a 440 ‘Cuda. I still love that car like I did when I got it. It’s all built up now and has nitrous plumbed in. It’s pretty nice ... Don’t give up on your dream!

@@sharke8351 thank you dude! The most interesting car I’ve had so far was a 1994 mustang gt...only 225hp but I had it modded for handling, some grippier tires...in the corners it stuck like glue...on the straights it’s slow but fast enough to beat a 300hp v6 Charger and challenger due to the low end torque and 3.73’s...speaking of challengers I’ll be getting a 392 challenger with the 6 speed in a year and I can’t wait for it...it’ll be my first mopar and after that will depend...if I can’t find a 340 cuda or a 67-69 barracuda fastback iD be happy with even a 340 challenger, or a 68 charger with a 440...also wouldn’t mind a dz302 camaro or a 67-68 fastback mustang...I love muscle cars in general and a big fan of Datsun z cars...wouldn’t mind a triple Weber 240z either lol

Angus hasn't opened up so much in 20 years!! They can obviously relate to a true fan rather than another clueless idiot asking the same old shit. What a unique and special experience to have your hero's open up in front of you after all the years of listening to them/ seeing them live etc. Very special! You seemed to do ok on the geordie accent as well! Excellent stuff!

ACDC have always been wary of the press & as an 50yo Australian , I know why. However, I believe since Malcom's passing, the band is now Angus's to run and he is obviously happy for the chance to open up. It was always Mal's band and he didn't suffer fools. Great to hear the boys back together for another effort.

I’m only 21- AC/DC has been my favorite band for the last 7 years, and everyday I’ve played AC/DC, I have all the albums, 30+ shirts, 3 concerts on DVD, an autographed guitar pick, 4 posters hanging in my room, Bonfire, Live (single CD, 2 CD set, Cassette set), and my first cassette was Back in Black, an original 1980 released one I paid 25 cents at a garage sale for it, I’ve played it many times and it still sounds brand new, and what made me fall in love with the band was their Iron Man 2 soundtrack, and the same day I got Back In Black I found Let There Be Rock and Powerage on CD (different sale tho) and I remember the first time listening to those albums and I was blown away because they were raw, hard, albums that kicked ass and a few months later I found Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap on cassette (original 1976 release) from a thrift store and it was like 75 cents, took it home and I was home alone one night and I was listening to it, because I only knew the title track none of the other songs and I LOVED them, they blew me away like Let There Be Rock and Powerage, and from there I knew I loved this band and I knew I had found my band. And from there I found For Those About To Rock, Blow Up Your Video, Ballbreaker, and of course Rock or Bust, and now Power Up and every album in between, from the very beginning, and I’ve even found rare live recordings on KZbin I saved before they got taken down, and when I was in 9th grade (2013-2014) when I was just starting to get into the band, my cousin and I would get in his crappy little car and go drive around the country all night (I live in Midwest USA) and listen to his Black Ice CD for a few years, and I have all 4 versions of the CD, but I love this band and I think it’ll be my favorite band for as long as I live, and for homecoming week at my school my junior year there was an impersonation day where you dressed up impersonating someone and I dug out a pair of shorts I had, my dress jacket, and button up dress shorts, grabbed my broken guitar hero guitar controller, taped AC/DC’s logo on it, put speakers in the jacket pockets, and I was Angus Young for that day and I was in choir and in choir my class wanted to see me give a small performance so I went around the room for a couple of minutes going full Angus and it was great, and I could go on and on about the band and how it’s changed my life and how losing Malcolm changed my life, and how I’ve been longing for this new album before we knew it was coming!

My father lives close to Brian and he really is a nice and genuine down to earth guy in person as he seems on videos. I've been a fan since 78 as well and did a report on them in my 7th grade English class. It was the first and only time that I actually enjoyed doing a report for school and got an A! I'm beyond happy that they're back and can't wait to see them live again.

Millennial, here. What a magical interview. Truly. Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ll never forget being mesmerized by AC/DC for the first time as a 12-year-old watching the ‘Live at Donington’ concert. The rest is history. They’re my favorite band, by far. Hoping to catch them on a tour if they’re ever able to, after this COVID nonsense, and would love to shake their hands some day. They are the true, orthodox, hard rock ‘n roll band. They’ve stuck to the formula that works and that people love. And, it also seems like the guys are pretty awesome, and down-to-earth, especially Brian and Angus for generously putting up with so many fans over the years. Thanks again for sharing; what a rush for you - and for us AccaDacca fans. Cheers!

Honestly, this is the best interview of Angus & Brian I have ever had the privilege to listen to. Well done Dean, I think all the comments below show that people all around the world (greets from Paris!) are unanimous & speechless at what is simply the most open and interesting exchange with A & B EVER !!! Columbia should put you in charge of their PR, ahahaha ;-) ! Anyway - amazing, thank you SO much, you hit it out of the park (and with Cliff too !) - you should be very proud & I think we all know you are - and rightly so (and very happy to have discovered your podcast through this too!). You've given so many a little bit of light in this shittiest of years - roll on the album ! Thanks so much, Ax

And I saw AC/DC first in Southampton, UK, in Nov. 1978, just over 3 months after the Oakland gig. We're privileged to have seen them at this stage of their ascension, they were incredible. Incidentally, I was at Bon's last Highway to Hell tour gig too, also at the then Southampton Gaumont, in Jan 1980... Ride on Bon, Mal and George

It has been a long way to the top because of ROCK AND ROLL and the entire world has and still is deeply entranced with all the epic tracks that have been part of all of the bands ups and downs to never falter from the music that rocks multi-generations all at one time which is the most POWERED-UP ELECTRIC BAND ever !!!! AC⚡️DC !!!!

That was fantastic, I doubt any of general fans have seen Angus so relaxed. Just finished the cliff Williams podcast, so great to hear their stories being told. But it's your choice of questions which were awesome, not like the media but like a fan. Brilliant man well done 🤘

Grew up with AC/DC thanks to my Big Brother Kevin who came home with a Brand New Portable record player and the Brand New High Voltage Album (Australian Version in 1975) then he would bring home all there new albums (Australian Versions) after that as they came out. Kev used to say to me that Bon was amazing. Kev passed away in April 1981-But i thank him to this day for Bringing Home the AC/DC records.

Dean this is incredible! I’ve always been a fan. I remember angus on stage in the 80s. He said “ I heard Eddie Van Halen played here yesterday”. Then I saw him play irruption one handed... mind blown!
