Because it's absolutely all over the place. There's no direction with the album. Em's best albums have had a concept that every song, for the most part, has stuck to. Revival had a few very good individual tracks, but collectively, as a whole, it wasn't a conceptually well put together album.

People weren’t just ready for revival, because what’s happening right now, rappers nowadays aren’t rapping what matters, well most of them don’t, but fans just mad at Eminem because half of them are a Trump supporters, and they’re just going to just gonna to say that it sucked. Revival too me is one of Eminem’s best albums, he didn’t talk about drugs, rape, women, he actually rap about important things, the fans didn’t pay attention to the lyrics that they’re listening to and just nodding to the beats and say that it’s good towards these so called rappers that are doing Mumble and trap rap .
