Interesting. Within the first few minutes, Winston addressed the very thing happening in my daughter's primary school. Same-sex toilets are causing little girls to have accidents, and worse, wait until they get home before using the toilet. Just the other day, my daughter said she always has to flush the toilet before she can use it, as little boys don't flush after themselves. I've even witnessed the young boys kicking the toilet doors when girls are inside. There are no safe private spaces for our girls, and I'm curious to know what happens when they get their periods. How uncomfortable is that going to be? Have a little empathy Moana, and get off your high horse.

My granddaughter has the same issue re toilets. She holds on till she gets home. Its a disgrace to our country that this gender-bending is out of control!
@MsPeaches2you Жыл бұрын
@@shereerihari2691 I’m sorry to hear that. It sounds like it’s happening in a lot of countries. To be honest it’s frightening what I have heard - at primary school level already, if a child wishes to change their gender pronoun etc, the teachers have to accept and acknowledge this, without the parents knowledge. My own daughters deputy principal told me she can’t say anything to the parents when this happens. The best she can do is tell the parents that their child has something to tell them. This is so wrong on so many levels, it boggles my mind. Some people genuinely have gender dysphoria, but current trends seem to be more societally driven - this generations version of lobotomies or anorexia. Let’s just hope we survive it!

@@scottmorrison1561 Woke = anything to do with affirmative action. Whether that be teaching gender and sexualities, pushing for indigenous frameworks, making te reo compulsory, teaching racial discrimination in schools. It's all virtue signalling nonsense that deviates from actually important subjects like science, math and English. Personally, I disagree with most of that kind of thinking, but it is what it is.
@scottmorrison1561 Жыл бұрын
@@naniok4271 Personally I think because of how insane the 'regressive left' can be with their reactionary attitudes, many of these 'woke' ideas become seen as only being discussed to gain brownie points, ie: for virtue signalling purposes. However, I actually think many of the ideas you've listed above are good, especially for a bi-cultural nation like NZ. I mean, why not have te reo taught in schools? I agree that discussions around gender, sexuality and racial discrimination are VERY convoluted on all sides these days, but I also think they're very important in principle, to be discussed. The question is when should kids learn about them, how should they be taught and what parameters should be put in place, ie: if kids (or adults) disagree with a particular point of view, you can't crucify them - it's not black and white. Ultimately I share a lot of view points with this 'woke left'. But, it's also largely because of them (and the media / politicians and political KZbinrs etc) that capitalise on its absurdity that many people who consider themselves Left leaning, don't feel connected to the people who are most vocal about these Left leaning ideas. To be honest I think there are many reasons for this culture war shit - I'm looking forward to more rational Left leaning voices making good content and influencing public discourse, and in turn more rational conservative voices popping up away from talking about Trans bs 60% of the time.

Just shows you what nonsense Labour got up to instead of minding the economy. Co-governance is seperatist and a small country being separated along racial lines, don't stand a chance in a world where animosity is being stoked.
@kingfillins4117 Жыл бұрын
Maori are being used by radical separatists. People asserting one NZ people are clearly not. Shes using Maori. She is a radical separatist herself. When Most Maori have nothing to do with Maori culture. They are simply getting on with their lives in one of the best countries on earth. (which is rapidly being destroyed by woke ideology).
@riwaimcghie8766 Жыл бұрын
@kingfillins4117 I refrain from calling anyone radical or even use separatist in the same sentence. As for maori who do not acknowledge their heritage is totally up to them. Maori have had to fight for their culture/language to even be recognized. Now I agree as a maori I do not agree with woke culture, I do not believe woke and maori culture should be characterized together. Maori being a political football is wrong is all that I am saying. Nz is a great country but in nature has been separated a long time since 1840.
@olsaffa7679 Жыл бұрын
@riwaimcghie8766 Te Tiriti is a unifying document. Making Maori English subjects. Those now advocating that the Treaty should be "interpreted" as not sacrificing sovereignty is cooked in the head. The Treaty was to give Maori protection, not make the original subjects of the Crown second-class citizens. Stupidity would believe that or ignorant greed.
@riwaimcghie8766 Жыл бұрын
@olsaffa7679 Actually there are 2 treatys of Waitangi the English version and a maori version. The maori version translates differently to the English one that was signed. Maori chiefs could not understand the English version and signed because they were only read and understood the maori version. That is why you hear the word Tino Rangatiratanga used so often by maori. Which gave maori the rights to govern themselves. I agree with it being a unifying document BOTH OF THEM. Hence co governance has been thrown around this is what makes it so split. There are 2 different worlds in Nz I acknowledge both I have a one foot in maori another in nonmaori I believe both deserve respect.

Separatism is apathheid
@erina4586 Жыл бұрын
Separatism and Racism started with the British Governors. The Maori want to Govern their own people and help them up where the British system has failed them big time under a British govt, where? 1) Maori have the highest Prison Inmates in the Jails in NZ. The system works against the people. They are cursed back to jail by Prison Guards. Thrown into Isolation cells 23 hrs a day, dont have a shower for days. ( under Draconian Conditions) DBlock at Poremoremo Prison example) 2) More Maori in gangs. As one gang member said on a radio talk back show interview, 'Gangs are an Anger Outlet.' 3) According to John Key; 90% of Maori Youth Committed Suicide😢 he mentioned hearing about some Maori youth at the Kings College/Uni? had killed themselves,why? 4) More Maori Homeless in NZ. 5) And the list go's on...

Maori are New Zealanders. No need for people, claiming Part-Maori whakapapa, to be treated in a seperatist way. Equality not equity. Apartheid is "Apart" seperate "heid" being: seperatism. Since when over-representation of people in prison make that other people's mistake?

Man has gone with the left and the right at the drop of a hat. Has no kaupapa to stand on. He has said and done anything for power, will sell anything for it. I'm amazed people still fall for this stuff when their egos get the smallest little stroke. Bet his pretty words make you feel mighty special don't they? Like you're finally being seen? Read up on some history mate, learn some intellectual self defence
@stephenbaker-lemay479 Жыл бұрын
@@danielwatson124 I think you need to get a little more understanding of politics, there are few principles on offer from any of the parties with a chance of actually getting an MP elected, all will sell something in order to gain power, none will stand and say they will not do any deals in order to lead the Country, Winston is not alone in bending in order to have a say in what happens, as for your personal attack on me, I’m not an NZ1st follower, in fact I don’t believe in party politics, so what Winston says does not stroke any of my ego even in the smallest way, or contribute to my sense of feeling special I do not need anyone’s words to help with that, and as for being seen, I’ve had my time in the spotlight, my fifteen minutes of fame, I’m a student of history and always have been, and quite capable of defending myself with my intellect, so to reiterate what I said, Winston is the only true Politician amongst the leaders on offer, whatever people may think of him, it’s not about liking or supporting his policies or values it’s about recognising his Political abilities, stand back and look at all the prospective Prime Ministers on offer without prejudice or favour and see who is a better Politician than him.

Very humorous. Winston can side step as well as Richie Mo'unga. Moana is very good at maintaining composure. Good on Winstone for having the courage to speak up on Co-governance as just been more gravy train racketeering by Maori elite and their consultants. I never hear interviewers asking Maori if they should manage their lives better or make better life choices to achieve better success and outcomes. Some places to start would be stop smoking, stop all alcohol & drugs, condem gangs instead of glorifying them, stop blaming everyone else. Be responsible & accountable. Embrace knowledge & learning.

Go read te tiriti o waitangi an explanation by Sir Apirana Ngata. The first Maori out of university. Plus Maori have always had a voice in government from the beginning. Some even traveled to visit queen Victoria. Maori cheifs treatied with the British crown in order to receive protection and advancement to trade on an international level. Stop making it a race issue.
