Love the reviews Mike. I find it interesting that you had so much trouble keeping the red tractors running. We use to run both jd and case but the green machines were always breaking down. We've been running nothing but red for the last 35 years and have never had a serious problem with any of them. I am sure combines are different from the tractors and you guys certainly run them harder than we do. Cheers!

We run 4 of the 9620RX and used to run case 620. I couldn’t agree with you more on your cons of the Deere. That trans drives me crazy on the cart and pulldozer and I don’t even run the carts! Occasionally while unloading on the go the trans will cut out and go into neutral. Not even during a hard pull. We’ve tried all the trans modes and different engine rpm etc. but still does it. The main pros are the GPS and monitor/controls in the Deere and so far haven’t had any idler wheel seal or axle seal issues.

Just got a 9620rx this year used with 1900 hrs. Came from a 9520t. So obviously I felt it road great lol. My issues were a lot the same. We have the 76’ Conservapak and C850 and it just seems to be doggy and not enough weight. Probably gonna add 2000lbs to each track for next year. We weren’t to worked up about the def or fuel burn but why not a bigger def tank. Annoying. Usually could go a full day but quitting time was with 0-2 bars on gauge. But for a used tractor and drill we literally had no downtime. So no matter how nice it is it doesn’t do anything for you sitting at the side of the field.
@mikemitchell25545 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment good sir! We have a 9560rt and yes, haha it's incredibly rough, obviously has it turning down sides but put that thing in a straight line and it will match those 620s.. Or at least close to it - pulling the same load.. So I agree with you, the 620s are too doggy and light.. The problem is, that JD knows about and recognize it - do you have that HP (hyd) upgrade? We don't.. Jd will add 30 - 50 hp for a cool $30k per tractor.. Same with the weights, they know they are lacking, but will just add more at my expense. I always say, I baught a 620hp tractor, not a 580Hp tractor.. Fix theses issues on your dime..

Problem with the 620 quad is the engine is to small its a 13 liter so theirs no torque their for high speed disks or rippers.. i wish they would find a bigger engine something like the old cats have the c18 or somthing would be awsome

One thing that has bugged me for years are the mirrors on four wheel/track tractors. They are pulling equipment 50 to 80+ feet wide but the mirrors are set vertically. You see lots of the sky. Mirrors are to see what is behind you, rotate them 90 degrees so you can see MORE of the implement at a time. Never can figure that out.

You need to try the 9520rx with the deere engine 13.5 liter, it burns less fuel, and def, and its much better on power, and it has less slippage, I've had both, would never go back to one with Cummings engine

The new warranty from Versatile is supposed to be a full warranty that will include 36-months of powertrain, hydraulics and premier component coverage. I know you mentioned Fendt was 5 years but you also said you like to trade out every 3 yrs so maybe it could work.
