this is probably the most underrated anime i've ever seen, 2017 was a very good year for anime, so maybe most people just didn't notice this series it's criminal. here is an amazing drawing and atmosphere, a lot of drama, a good plot, but due to the small amount of attention, the second season most likely will not be released plaese remember about Children of the wales

This anime is super underrated. It is similar to Attack on Titan in concept. These people who does not know about the people outside of their island. What is beyond this island? Why do the Marked live shorter lives? Why are they considered cursed people. Why are outside people trying to kill them? The brutality. In my opinion, I love this much better than Attack On Titan. Ouni is kind of like Eren. Love the animation, music, art, and I thought the MC was a girl but it's refreshing for a guy to have this kind of fashion but also not too girly looking. Our MC is also an archivist which is so fresh. I guess I wish some characters have more depth but it's hard to do in 12 episodes. The manga does a good job at character depth, especially Oruka. I give the anime 9/10.
