St. Lucia holds a special place in my heart: my husband and I went there on our honeymoon almost 19 years ago. Beautiful island with great people (shout out to Joseph!)

I am getting married there in 2 years from now, at Jade mountain Soufriere. Visited there twice. First time for 6 weeks and the second time for 4 months. I did not want to come back. This is my parents home land and place of birth love it. I stayed at Anse Chasnet & The Royal St Lucian Rex resorts in a beach front suite room. I climbed The piton and Mount Gimmie. Awesome experience but watch out for the deadly poisonous snake the Ferdinance, which could kill a man in 7 hours. They were brought in from South Africa, in order to help the slave masters control the slaves and prevent them escaping. The snakes use to turn on the slave owners themselves and kill them with their lethal poisonous bite. St Lucia holds a special place in my soul. It's is Heaven on Earth Article Source: EzineArticles.com/3261777

st.lucia is structured wrong. two major towns( castries and vieux fort) on totally opposite sides of the island. the international airport in vieux fort on the south tip and the capital castries on the north tip. that island is set up so that you spend a lot of time on the road, travel long distances from south to north and burn a whole lot of gas. everything in st.lucia is expensive. the food in st.lucia is garbage, bland and tasteless. of all the island in the caribbean, the food in trinidad is the best. trinidad is the only island in the caribbean that is 70% indian and with that comes a large variety of indian foods. nice and spicy. the food in trinidad is to die for. the roti is awesome. all the food in TnT is finger licking good. you get 3-4 times more value for your money in trinidad.

If you cared to know the history of the island .... 14 times fought for by British and french resulted in shifting the capital . But hey if she has been voted the number one honeymoon destination in world 11 times and she did not inspire you, then you are hard to please person. She stayed beautiful after you left.

@bigtaxrefund4 жыл бұрын
insult what? the truth is the truth. who cares about the history and all that jazz. i travel a lot to other island on business and i can compare the good the bad and the ugly. ive been to lucia several times on business and even had to rent an apt in cedar heights. so i know the place quite well. ive even got friends who are police officers in baboneau.

You does sound dotish eh.. first of all, Trinidad and Tobago is 35% African, and 34% Indian, with the rest being other multiracial and minority groups such as asians and Hispanics, and don't insult we North sister Saint Lucia. Wes family! 🇹🇹♥️🇱🇨
