Jordan divorced his wife when he got big & started dating 20 year old European super models. & could CARELESS ABOUT OUR CULTURE. if you not buying his shoes he dont gaf. LeBron literally came from nothing born to 16 yr old momma without a das. the typical black cultural background but he made it out of that tremendously. at 18 he had 100 million in contracts & NOT ONCE DID he act a fool. anyone else with that money & fame at 18 wouldve went crazy. but not LeBron. i will never understand the hate on this man

@fhds fhds I guess we agree to disagree sir. I have grown up playing basketball competitively my entire life. I idolized MJ as well as Kobe. They had killer instinct no doubt. Lebron however can play any position flawlessly. He plays text book basketball the way it should be played. He trusts his team mates and makes the play that should be made at the time. Amazing feat to surpass magic in assists and about to pass Kareem in points. Tbh I grew up watching all three and hate the comparisons between them. Can’t compare shaq to Lebron or Steph but they are all goats in their own lane. 🤷‍♂️ just my humble opinion though. What do I know. I’m a nobody. But it is an incredible feat and he should get his flowers for being dominant for 20 years. Once in a generation athlete

Why are speaking like a cultist? I think you’re a victim of the moment. If you really look deep into his career you’ll see abject failure. There are plenty of other stars that are less drama worth watching and “witnessing”. He’s all marketing and overrated. His records will be broken. It’s what you do with the stats that counts. 20 years and 2 rings via shortened seasons and they’re all by way of Super Teams is nothing to celebrate. It’s forced and he robbed other players of their legacy just so he can chase someone else’s.

If he plays 65 games a year during that span, that's another 8125 points, 1950 rebounds, and 2275 assists to his career totals. Yup, Kareem at 7"2 was doi doing damage. Young folks dont realise how great offesive force Kareem was, it wasn't just the skyhook, he was pulling out the skyhook only when they needed the bucket. He had a great touch around the rim and post game. Kinda like Jokic with Sombor suffle shot.

If you take care of your body you can be a professional athlete until you're 45-50 years old like Tom Brady and George Foreman and Bernard Hopkins. Congrats to LeBron on his great career! Goo Lakers!
@mobetta2092
@mobetta2092 Жыл бұрын
It requires more then taking care of your body. The league is so intensely competitive that we as fans take for granted that players must be extraordinarily skilled and disciplined enough to have the ability to adjust his skill set in the off season in order to stay ahead of the competition in the league (scouting) in order to prevent the competition from adapting to their tendencies, which will make them less effective and gradually replaceable. (This is why Westbrook for instance had a significant decline in production because the league caught up with his tendencies).

@CriusXI
@CriusXI Жыл бұрын
No it’s not, scoring titles is about stat chasing meanwhile all-time leading scorer is about being consistently great for a long period of time. As many retired players who have faced LeBron such as Gilbert Arenas have said that LeBron genuinely does not give his full effort in the regular season in order to preserve himself as much as possible for the playoffs. LeBron would have won the scoring title last year if he didn’t decide to sit out the rest of the games of the season. He sat out those games because they were meaningless which really shows he never chased for those type of accolades. If he could win one in year 19, you’re telling me LeBron couldn’t have won it any other year if he wanted too? He couldn’t have won it as much as MJ? Difference is MJ was a stat chaser to primarily focused on scoring instead of playmaking. He had several 82 game seasons while making the playoffs with a losing record 3 consecutive seasons. Often having an even weaker eastern conference than LeBron had.
