Just remember that illaoi has two kinds of W's. One is ranged and can be countered by knockbacks or knockups (gragas, yasuo, riven, aatrox, vi...), and the other one is mele W, which cannot be countered by all these abilities and does not apply sudden impact since it's not consider a leap, dash, blink, etc.

Yeah ikr B^) one trick here top 600 NA, Illaoi lvl 1 W start is one of the most oppressive early in the entire game as she has the 2nd best highest base ad too at 68, (meanwhile at lvl 18 she actually HAS the highest base ad at 153, irrelevant but fun to know) so bonking ppl early like around 10 times (with some autos mixed in) is literally more than enough to kill. Do not think you can beat a good illaoi level 1 lmao I win every lane atm bc darius, fiora & camille think they stand a chance, pretty funny watching them lose the 1st blood and rage after

brother next time u play illaoi try one of these build based in one shot with E : 1st build (when u can farm kills) Hubris> Shojin> Manamune (maybe not)> Collector> Bloodthrister or Malmortius Summary: Basically highest AD items in game with Hubris scale 2nd build (Solid build) Heartsteel> Shojin> Overlord> Collector> Black Cleaver Summary: Basically scaling AD thanks to Overlord with Heartsteel/Grasp stacks. Shojin is a must, there is no item that gives her more dmg in her E since the +12% stacked has a value of an item with more than 110 AD. (like if your E says that it does 60% when Shojin is stacked the real dmg dealt is 67%) same interaction work with runes from the 3rd line of Precision runes (Coup de grace/Cut Down/Last stand) and even Riftmaker and Press the attack, but Rift gives AP and TPA is hard to apply but in some circunstances Riftmaker buffs illaoi's E more than AD items. While Collector add +5% if they reach that value (to clarify Lethality does not increase the damage of E). Overlord actually scales a crazyness that's why the 2nd build works, like with 4000 hp it gives +80 ad, 120 ad in total and gives even more at lower HP, so only that item compensate to have Heartsteel instead of a DMG item (sometimes u can reach like 180 ad more than black cleaver, sunderer sky and voltaic clyclosword together, in late game this build is scarier than normal Illaoi).

Their positioning was terrible, they had no awareness of enemies, and even when they did, rather than try to hit the enemies without being hit, they kind of went, I'm out. This is mostly why I play single player games and watch others play league, because no game is more frustrating than playing a team game with people who act like they are single rather than being married. You work WITH your teammates, yet so many either ignore their teammates and do their own thing, or act like they are the shot caller with no ability to back it up.
