The 2JZ swap for the GR Corolla is most likely a reference to the GR Corollas used in Formula Drift Japan, such as one used by Kalle Rovanpera in 2023.

As much as i know, the k24 sileighty swap is a common thing in drifting and time attack in the us, the gtr with the LS is a reference to Steve baggsy, an english drifter who use that monster irl... And also the brz with the suzuki v8 is a reference to the Jun brz synergy with a twin hayabusa 1.3L 4 bangers made into a 2.6L v8...

2015 BRZ with the gr3 Suzuki engine and the newer Shelby GT 350 with the Maverick swap are probably my favourites so far. Down low, '69 Fairlady with the '02 Silvia is a great and also not crazy swap.

Always nice to have an engine swap list, but I wish it was organized better. Either in alphabetical order of vehicle manufacturer, or the engine manufacturer, to make it easier to find what specific engines go where. Rather than just mashing all the previous videos together. Maybe you can do that next time.

May well do a completely overhauled version in future, but obviously that will take significantly longer

But really it should already be built into the game to show us what cars are compatible with the random engines we have, but they decided to make it difficult to find the answers.

I kinda wish the Nissan GTR gt3 can have a engine swap from the Nissan GTR gt500 nismo, cause even if I put the high-rpm turbo in the gt3, it still barely go 200mph

Is there a reason why most of the Subaru's in the game have not had a single engine swap yet. Also there are loads of small underpowered cars that were in the game before newer added cars came to the game and those newer cars got engine swaps first. PD should be making sure older cars get the goods first...

I am optimistic, since they introduce Michelin tyres. The biggest issue with GT physics is the tyre model. If they fix those, then only the load transfer will be an issue. And that is not that bad after 1.31.

It's the engine used in the Garage RCR Civic, like how the BRZ swap is from the drift car instead of a regular BRZ
