Great match. @commentators: in 2024, can we have a little less comments on Quadri's "fighting spirit" - which Hugo also has quite a lot of - and a bit more on his playing skills?😉

Man, stop being sentisive Besides, it's an objective fact, Calderano is way better in the technical side of the game. His style is way more textbook than Aruna's.

@@BroziThat's the whole point..if Aruna wasn't the one eyed among blinds in the African table tennis scene..he wouldn't play in the tournament

Know that in any sports the under dog is more commented upon to make the sports look even. You know the better player does not have anything to lose. Much love 🇳🇬

Because aruna has glaring technical deficits. He pretty much has a good short game, footwork forehand from what I can tell. I doubt any non-African coach would approve of his technique.
@cephasminingou64288 ай бұрын
No question on HC textbook technique and QH unorthodox style. Just saying, since he played Jike the focus has abided too much on his underdogness on not enough on his achievements. BTW, other players with unorthodox styles may have a different treatment... just an opinion.

Thank God Aruna never came into the game thinking thst he was only their to make up numbers. So many was expecting thst he would just play to the already written script that Caldarana W/o if destroy him but guess what Caldarana had some one who out gunned him and we are quit happy that Aruna proved many of you guys wrong.

Hugo is pretty cool. Brazil probably put every dollar they have into football, and it’s probably hard to find a practice partner for Hugo. Yet how is he able to be in the top 5 for so long? I didn’t see a single frustration or rage from him as he is being beaten by someone he should be destroying. I wish I can stay that cool. Oh, and very handsome too! No homos.
@ravanpee13258 ай бұрын
He has dual citizenship Brazil + Portugal and played in the German and Russian League ..so why should he be dependant on what's going on in Brazil with table tennis?

Some of you guys must must have been nauseated by Aruna winning the game not Caldarana losing because Aruna was supposed to loose . Thank God that in sports àand the officials have integrity the better player will often come out on top. Hugo was just not consistent in this game because most of his best kill shots were returned by Aruna and he was not prepared for this. and it all started in the middle of the second game . Aruna is a warrior and is not bothered by losing to any player who is ranked above him .He made the adjustment but Hugo didn't you must be prepared got it more thst one shot to pass Aruna
