the switch drop was really smooth, and the keycaps was a good idea. you can see masking on the keycaps switch but im sure many people didnt catch it and since im an editor i looked for it lol

I have one metal keycap and always thought the sound was much deeper, but never thought about a whole board of metal caps. They both sound gorgeous. Almost like the keycaps themselves have their own thock.

I feel like these keycaps would go one of two ways: they either have practically no key rattle due to being metal, or they end up degrading the switch stem over heavy typing use and develop gradually worse rattle. Although if I'm being honest, that wouldn't stop me from dropping a mortgage to get a set of these...if I could afford it at all...

why not have a metal cap with a double shot plastic inside so it well be plastic on plastic but you well still have the metal keycaps

I might try these out. I remember buying brass WASD caps from like 2015 ebay, they were absolutely terrible but sounded really cool bottoming out. These look a lot better, I know these have to be expensive as hell, 100+ fully anodized aluminum caps cant be cheap to produce

I think it’s actually okay. Aluminum is probably not that could and it’s not that thick. Also you just touch it with your Fingertips and not the wrist for example wich is a lot more sensitive

the only concern is that the letters seem printed instead of those injected with plastic caps. The backlight if there's any won't illuminate through those letters.

1:51 I am sure that all of them were made from castings. The underside looks CNC milled. The stem is hard to cast, far simpler to just mill that.
