Same! When my grandmother died, we came back home from the gathering with her ashes, and her dog looked at the ashes as if recognizing who it was. Now there isn't a morning where we wake up to see her dog laying down on my grandmother's spot on the couch, which is right next to where her ashes are, which are on a side table with a lamp my grandmother always used for reading. Seeing her dog like this makes me wanna cry, because I know that she misses her mamma so much, just as much as I miss my grandma. But now my grandmother's dog is 14 years old, and reaching the end of her life. It makes me sad knowing that soon I'll have to watch her go, but happy that she'll be reunited with her mamma.

i lost my boy Bruno back in February, and i regularly look at these videos to help remind me of the times i spent with him. the day he was chosen to come home with us, i was there. in a sense, he chose me, as he waddled up to me, sat down and stared at me. the moment i sat down with him, he jumped into my lap as happy as could be, which sealed the deal in our case. i sadly did not get to see him and say goodbye tho, as he was too ill to go anywhere, and i had no way of getting to where he was at the time back at my moms place... i miss him so insanely much! i miss having him sleep on top of my belly as i took an after dinner nap. i miss having him greet me whenever i would come home for a visit. i can never have one like him again, as he was truly unique. his name stemmed from the fact that, as a Maltezer, he isnt supposed to have any Brown in his pelt, but he did, therefore the name Bruno, as Brun means Brown in Norwegian. Rest In Peace Bruno. i will miss you forever, up until i too enter the afterlife so we can run in the meadows again for as long as you'd like.

I have 2 cats, they are brothers, anytime I go anywhere, i always tell them I’ll be right back. I had a heart attack back in Dec. needless to say I was in the hospital for a week. I have a camera in the house and tried to communicate with them through it but they just cried and cried every time they heard my voice. Almost six years ago the guys I worked with found a four week old kitten on the side of the highway. Needless to say I took him home. My dog won’t let me be away from her for less than three seconds. It’s very destruct. She’s mama’s two year old puppy. She always will be the puppy. I love her very very much. She is my Harley.❤❤❤❤❤ She had a very tough life for the first nine months before I got her. She was left in a pain with no human interaction just with another dog. The first person she bonded with was me. I showed her safety, and I showed her love for the very first time in her life. She’s grown so many ways. She’s becoming a very big girl, but she will always be my baby. Every moment with her so special just watching her grow and coming out her show is the best thing ever. Showing her new things with her experiencing them with her and having her see everything and look on her face when she enjoys it is great. I’m taking her camping in September for the very first time. This is a true story of mine. When I was like 6 my pet cat died of cancer but a few months later we heard of a cat that had the exact same facial features as my cat. We took in a 6 year old dog who was rescued from a bad household. After she was rescued, she’d been taken in by 4 different families that all returned her to the rescue center. Obviously that made her develop separation anxiety, scared that every time she’s left alone, she’d be abandoned. I shed a tear every time there was an owner who lost their pet. It reminds me of when I found my dog after a week, it wasn’t too long but it sure felt like it

When I was 2 my dog passed away at the age of 7 she was a Newfoundland her name was pippa it is the only clear bad memory of her when she died I was so sad I never got a chance to experience what it was like to be with her but I always dream of it and whenever me my mum and sis talk about her we all burst into tears bc of how much we miss her but I remember she is in a better place now and is always looking down on us❤❤❤😢😢

I was deployed in 2011, got 6 months after then had to deploy again. My dog of 9 years passed away during what was my third deployment. For 2 and a half years my dog didn't get to see me. My mom said she sat by the door everyday waiting for me to come home.

I cried at 3:11 when the guy said “what is the longest time you’ve been away from your dog?”because that reminded me of Athena my dog who died of cancer when I was only 2 years old I asked my parents how good was my dog and they said “oh, she was always by your side and she always loved you.” So my answer of “what is the longest time you’ve been away from your dog?” Is 9 years.🐶😢R.I.P Athena😢🐶

Sister of that< picture. Years ago, my mom died from cancer....her Boston Terrier of 14 years moped around the house hanging it's head down...so sad from it's usual hyper way.....finally had to put her down because of this and other medical issues...I bought her that puppy at 8 weeks old...she had one as a little girl ..miss you both😢

I have a goat named june.I've been with her her whole life.Whenever I come back from a trip no matter where she is she run up and greet me.she was raised with my two dogs .copper and winston, who both know how to shake. And eventually she learned to shake.I mean literally shake hands.its the cutest thing.

I once Had a dog Named Hachi, And I had her for 4 years. One day I had to leave for school back to Australia. And I haven't seen her for 3 years. And when I came back, She was barking and yelling like WHO ARE YOU!?, then she recognized my scent and hugged and played with me for hours. now she's with me in Australia so she won't have to worry about me going away. She also insists to sleep beside me every night. I love my dog. If your wondering, She's a golden retriever
