Last night, we booked our first MSC cruise and it will be on the Meraviglia next May 2025. Our teenage daughters love cruising, and my wife found this one for a great price. We are hoping we enjoy our first experience with MSC. Thank you for the informative video and not being negative like many of the other review videos!

Too much negativity out there! As we always say, any trip is what you make it. We don't sweat the small stuff and have fun anywhere we go. We were a bit unsure of how we'd like MSC considering we typically cruise Royal, but we found a good deal on this cruise as well, and thoroughly enjoyed it! @@VeronicaRyanVideos We have been on several Royal cruises ourselves over the past 15 years and, until recently, Royal has been our go-to cruise line. Our daughters have asked that we try all the cruise lines, so our first cruise on Celebrity was in October 2023 and then on the Celebrity Beyond this past June. After taking our first Norwegian cruise (on the Bliss) last month with our daughters to Alaska, we all agree that our favorite line is Celebrity so far with the Beyond being our favorite ship overall. I doubt we will take any more cruises on Norwegian. We cruised on Oasis Of The Seas in May 2023, and although the shows were some of the best, the overcrowding and inability to get an elevator was frustrating. We are leaning toward taking our first Princess cruise on the Grand Princess next October for Fall Break, but it is also tempting to book the new MSC World America instead. We also hope to cruise to London on the Cunard Queen Mary 2 someday. We now use the CruisePlum website for all of our cruise research. So many cruise options, so little time! 😃

I noticed MSC carries Angry Orchard hard cider. Do they carry any other non beer canned drinks like White Claw or Truly?

so yall like this ship better then royal? i’ve been on carnival twice and royal once and this my first time on msc

Tough question - Royal really sets the bar high with their ships. That being said, the newest Royal ship we've been on is the Allure of the Seas, and that launched in 2009. That's the best ship we've been on. The Meraviglia is sort of like a modern voyager class ship (we've been on the voyager and navigator), so it's better than those two. And we both liked the Meraviglia better than Norwegian Encore. It's got a good flow, easy to navigate, and is a really nice ship overall. There is a lack of included food venues though, and it can feel crowded depending on when you cruise (ours was a holiday weekend, fully booked). We're also pretty easy to please, for what it's worth lol.
