I am in process of saving for a Nami Burn E, I have a decent paying job, with christmas, I am stuck with saving for that as well. so I sometime next year ill have one! I am from the UK, which is difficult due to the laws over here. my friend has been riding one for over year with no issues. it's not putting me off getting the Nami though, I can't wait!

thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Boozy! Good luck with the Christmas expenses and saving for the scooter. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet but I'm not looking forward to it lol. The regulations over there are pretty crazy. I've seen some people in the UK riding around on escooters, eskates, and even highpowered ebikes, so I think you'll be ok as long as you're not acting like a menace hahaha. You're really gonna enjoy the Burn E. It's really comfortable and quick, even when riding in the wet!

I really enjoyed this video. The warmth of the city lights at night gives me a cozy feeling that the daytime videos don’t. I’m watching this past midnight as well. I just watched the whole video on my bed. It’s very calming, almost therapeutic. I like that you were talking more than usual. That made it much much easier to keep watching. Don’t apologize for talking, it actually makes the video better.

Thanks for watching the video and I'm glad you enjoyed it! There's a beauty in NYC at night that's so strangely calming. It's a stark contrast to what's actually going on around you lol. However, there also those days where it's difficult to think of things to say for almost an hour lol

thanks for watching this video as well, I'm glad you've been enjoying the channel! I hope that day comes for ya'll because it really is one of the best and enjoyable ways to get around. In NYC and the US, we're hoping that people's recklessness and complete disregard for best battery practices don't screw the rest of us over. We're seeing a push from the public for bans and we're seeing the police cracking down on certain PEVs as well.
@ltdeditioncobba6382
@ltdeditioncobba6382 Жыл бұрын
@@eyebahnrides The same push to ban is happening over here and it's because some riders show a total disregard for the rules put in place by our government. Plus there's Public Hire scooters everywhere and the people that ride those show no regard for safety. There's a big group of PEV enthusiasts based in Brisbane Queensland called ScootMasters that works with the state police to give PEV riders more freedom. As it stands we currently cannot ride on roads 40mph and higher, even in bike lanes on those roads.

Not in bike lanes? What a bunch of politicians. I could understand speed limit of 28 or whatever the ebike limit is for the bike lane, but outright banning scooters is about what I expect from supposed environmental supporting politicians.

Bro!!! Congratulations on the affiliate code!!!! You have worked extremely hard to get there and you deserve it, one more side gig notch on the belt. thanks Weldon! It's nice to be able to represent a company that I actually trust and enjoy working with. With the small commissions that are generated through these affiliate programs, it really does help with operating the channel. Currently everything is getting pooled into a fund that will help with a new computer for editing. My poor iMac from 5 years ago is struggling and I actually have 2 electric fans aimed at it while I'm working on it and when I'm exporting lol. Spinning ball of death shows up atlesat twice a week and I'm just praying I don't get the blue screen of death until the new computer is here! Everyday I'm like " come on buddy, I know you wanna retire but I need you to just hold out a little longer man. Just hold on, we going home..." @eyebahnrides exactly bro, that's why I was so excited that VoroMotors sent me my affiliate code. When I was doing research on scooters, I was so pleased with everything about Voro all the way from customer service all the way to sales. Totally understand that about the computer funds, lol... I call mine the Titanium funds for my leg. As far as the computer, I get that about the speeds, I started my KZbin journey with editing on my phone when I first started. That sucked so bad it almost made me quit, but then I got my MacBook Pro, and I have enjoyed the world of editing now. That does make a difference when it comes to equipment and stress levels. I really hope the blue eyes of death leave you alone. Lol, yeah, the copyright flags make it a stressful job, especially when you get around businesses. They always have stuff on that will get us in trouble, but we risk the biscuit, hoping it doesn't show up too bad to get us in trouble. Keep up the awesome job you're doing. We will never see another review or commute of a scooter riding the streets of NYC during the night . This is real experience and a great idea. Buyers want to know how it would be to commute, to use on daily basis, through traffic, rain and potholes. And, now, at night time. It's just amazing what you do. Congrats. Thanks for watching this one as well Andrew! Now that I have the night settings pretty much set (with a few tweaks coming), I'm hoping to do more of these types of videos for the scooters in the future. It's always difficult to plan these types of rides because I usually don't have much time with it. The scooters are usually shop scooters that are for customers to try and I don't hold on to them that long know that! Hopefully I can find a way to record in the rain one day. Wow your light is super bright! Night settings look great man. What does a steering damper do? Slow the speed of turning so you don't lose control on a wobble?
@eyebahnrides
@eyebahnrides Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yea man, the stock headlight is 2000lumen. Its a bit too wide so I usually have a second headlight that gives me a bit more distance but its on the s73 an I'm too lazy to change it out lol. Phew, glad everyone is enjoying the night setting. That took a few weeks of trial and error lol. Correct. The steering damper makes the turning of the stem much stiffer so it prevents highspeed wobbles. The catch is range of motion for the front end is restricted and low speed maneuvering suffers. Since I spend 90% of my time between 15-40mph, I never replaced it

Hi Eyebahn, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family i love watching ur videos man, can i make a content request about brakes review? sure we know Namis in general is a beast , but not all of us likes stock brakes, here in Philippines the most popular brakesets are Magura quadpistons , Hopetech v4 etc, .... the Magura MT5e model in general is the easiest to install as it is plug and play, other models will work but needs tweaking such as adding pressure switch or e-levers for brakelights to work Now having said that i want to know your thoughts as a content using this powerful brakes with Nami stock rotors and the rotor recommended for the brakes, example: 1) Magura MT5e + Nami stock rotor 2) Magura MT5e + Magura Storm HC rotors 3) Hopetech V4 + stock Nami rotors 4) Hopetech V4 + recommended rotor 5) 160mm rotors vs 180mm rotors this vid will be a treat for us brakeset nerds 😁😍 NOTE: also Shigura is now getting popular on our evehicles ( Shimano levers + Magura calipers ) = Shigura you can do a series about this Eyebahn 🙏🙏🙏... - from your Number 1 fan

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the support Elliot! Maybe in the future something like this can happen. It’s quite difficult to get that kind of spread together here in NYC because most of us keep our scooters stock. Maybe when the channel gets a bit bigger and we get brake sponsors we can knock out a video like that. I’ll ask around to see if we have folks with that kind of build in the community and maybe it can happen sooner. I’ve always wanted to do that kind of video but it’s tough for a solo creator 🙏🏼

Ivan,I wanted too ask you a question,what are your thoughts on the Nami Burn-E 2 using battery cells that aren’t made by LG but by an off brand manufacturer? I want to buy the Nami Burn-E 2 but I am concerned about that.
@eyebahnrides
@eyebahnrides Жыл бұрын
Thanks for joining us for this ride as well Dave. My original Nami Burn E was part of the batch that didn't have the LG cells. I had the generic cells that they used when there were supply chain issues a few years ago. Since I take care of my scooter and I'm very mindful on how I care for my batteries, I never had any issues with them. Keep in mind I put about 4000+ miles on that original battery over the course of 3 years. I also ride in all kinds of temperatures and weather. Even after all that I could still get 50 miles per charge of city riding. It's ideal to have the quality brand name cells because they're premium for a reason. If you can get them, try to get them. However, Nami does an incredible job putting together the generic cells in models like some of the first gen E, E2, Klima Base, and Blast Base. Generally, only the PEV enthusiasts really care about the cells and most of the owners of the base mode's have nothing but great things to say about them. Just remember, the most important thing is taking care of the battery regardless of brand. Follow all the best practices and you can minimize your problems with them and prevent a catastrophic failure.
@DaveG-ur1wm
@DaveG-ur1wm Жыл бұрын
@@eyebahnrides one last question sir,let’s say once then cells eventually die. Are you able to replace them with new battery cells to keep the Nami going and on average how much does it cost for an LG battery? Thank you 🙏🏽 Ivan for taking time to respond back.
@eyebahnrides
@eyebahnrides Жыл бұрын
@@DaveG-ur1wm I've seen Namis with 20-30k miles on them in the forums and the batteries are still doing fine. Depending on how you cycle through it, a battery can last for years. It's possible to replace them but I'm not aware of what the price is. The one thing that I do know is it's the most expensive part of a PEV. I assume it will be in the thousands to replace the whole pack. It would be better to ask that question to the vendor that you purchase from because they can let you know the actual cost of the battery pack. Hope this helps!
