I'm so glad you reviewed this Brad!! I am absolutely in love with this album. I love the fact that they expanded their sound and did different things but they didn't loose the animalistic and barbaric side to their sound. "Armory of Obsidian Glass" is an absolute masterpiece of a song and for sure will be looked at as one of FoH best songs to date. Great review!

Got my vinyl copy in the mail yesterday. I put it on and couldn’t pick my lower jaw up off the floor for an hour. Unbelievably original and sounds more intense than an amplified tornado at times. The weeping choir section is truly fucking bone chilling at HIGH volume. Master class in modern metal. Solid review as well Brad.

I did listen to it once all the way thru. I almost feel not even qualified to comment b/c this is not my thing. But what it sounds like to me is the equivalent of a torture chamber where the torture is listening to a static-y tv flip thru channels at full blast. FOREVER. Lately been really digging Whitechapel, Numenorean, Dead to a dying world, Lowest Creature, and Wormwitch. But my fav release of the year so far is Soen so that prob tells you everything haha

Been listening to FOH for a while. Today my dad caught me. He took my phone, the Sennheisers, and the car keys. I'm restricted to barracks and am allowed only liver and onions and oatmeal until Father's Day.Was kinda worth it tho.

Haha. My stepdad saw my Venom Black Metal tape I bought at the corner store when I was in middle school in like '85....he got all redfaced and ripped it up and smashed it. It sucked, because I would have discovered heavier shit like 5 years earlier than I did if that hadnt happened. I didnt even get to hear what it sounded like .
