One of the most realest lines in Baby Boy - Dear Lord, Please forgive us for all the sins we have brought upon us. And look down upon us with forgiveness for the the sins we will have in the future. I know you understand that ninja's ain't perfect, but we try lord. We try to keep our heads up in bad times. This is a bad time, show us the way. And if you can't show us the way, then forgive us for being lost...#MasterClass#Forgiveusforbeinglost

Thank you! I loved that show. ESPN was not the place for that show. Their hands were tied lol. It should have been on HBO. But the NFL wasn't ready for those kind of conversations at the time. If you've watched Ballers on HBO, it's kind of similar, but Playmakers was darker. Man that show could have been one of the greatest.

Omar still looks the same and still funny lol I miss the time where we had endless positive black tv shows to watch. And one day I decided to look up Smart Guy because my son was always watching repeats of Jessie..I said he needs to be exposed to good black sitcoms. I put on Smart Guy and he loved it then continued to binge watch all seasons. I wish more shows from the past would come back more and more. I grew up on them and I want my son to at least have the same experience too of seeing people like himself in a positive light.
