- 20RX - Franz made it to god-status and has dethroned HungryBox. The tierlist has changed in order to put Dr.Mario on Sheik's place. Everyone tries to pickup Dr.Mario in order to dethrone Franz, all of them unsuccessful. Armada, Mew2King, HungryBox, Mango, and all players have abandoned Melee as they have failed to dethrone Franz. "Franz is not Melee!", "Dr.Mario is broken!" cry the last Melee fans as they remember HungryBox, and because there was no one to hear them, they left, causing Melee to leave a sad and painful fucking death.

I swear doc is the most irritating normal character for sheik to fight lol, I'd even rather be beat by a puff than a doc. (Probably not an ices though)

What makes Doctor Mario infuriating to fight? Genuine question, I honestly don't know but am curious. I'm assuming it has something to do with his pills, cape and janky hitboxes? I'm just throwing out random things here, I honestly don't know. Thanks for watching!

@@Frudgey well for me its that he can chaingrab sheik bit she can't chaingrab him back really at all, he's more difficult to combo than marth and peach despite falling slightly faster (all because of his extra weight) hes got pretty good and very consistant throw followups after the chaingrab ends, hes very good at the boring and frustrating rinse and repeat edgeguard you see alot in the sheik ditto, yep his pills and aerials are very weird to play against and feel like no other character in the game, and maybe most annoying of all its quite hard to find good modern sets of him vs sheik to learn off of. I really appreciate franz for helping to make that a smaller problem

Hey thanks for the detailed answer! It was a very interesting read. And yeah, that's one problem with low-mid tier characters - they're much less common so it's a lot harder to get good data on them. And then of course, Doctor Mario players probably know the Sheik match up better than the Sheiks knowing the Doctor Mario match up on account of Sheik being much more common relatively speaking.

I find that when I make these highlight videos, sometimes there's a HUGE skill disparity in the first couple of matches. Personally I don't mind that much because I find it fun sometimes to see a pro player just absolutely dismantle someone. Thanks for watching!
