Insane video. I basically grew up on TOGA takeoffs, I used to fly Almaty - Antalya and back every summer on A321's, and it's a 6 and a half hour fully loaded flight. Awesome feeling!

Sometimes when my plane lands in Wellington I expect the cabin crew to say 'brace, brace, brace' but they just say welcome to Wellington and thank you for flying Air New Zealand or something like that while I recover from my near-death experience.

Fantastic! Would have loved to be on this ride. Never before heard a CFM getting cranked up that much, a rare catch! You'll always get that loud engine buzz when sitting ahead of the engine during climb-to-cruise. Want a quiet seat for the cruise? Sit where you sat. Want to avoid the buzz, but have the roaring exhaust beside your ear the whole flight? Sit behind the engine. Atop the wing is probably the best trade-off. Thanks for video! Favourited.

Some (but very rare amount of) 737-800/900/900ER goes even more beyond 105% N1 takeoff power on thunderstorms.
@SSAviation737 Жыл бұрын
@@muharvi No the max allowable N1 for these engines is 104% N1. Takeoff power was about 99 or 100% in this video but at 0:59 pushed up to around 101% or somewhere around that maybe due to windshear idk
