Love these boards can’t wait to try my own. Are you now making a “skin” of weave that gets attached to a block or base that becomes the cutting board? I’ve only seen you make that last cut thicker

@FeldthouseFamilyWoodworks Hey Ryan! Excellent video. I bought the Helical Weave Pattern plans with the intent to make a full-sized desktop (30"x72") using the same pattern. Do you think these glued-up 2" squares are a good idea for a desktop? Do you think I should put a substrate underneath the pattern, so that the helical weave pieces are bonded/glued to the surface of a substrate as well? Or, do you think the end-grain design is a bad idea for a desktop?? Appreciate any experience you might have with making a larger surface using this pattern....
