Full Pull: Black Mtn Trail Ranger District Pisgah National Forest

This is a top to bottom run of the newly reworked Black Mtn Trail in the Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest. There is a hike a bike/riding section that precedes this descent but don't let that scare you off. Almost 20min of DH at race pace here. So start doing push ups and opening jars to work on grip strength. You're gonna need it.
This was captured during the 2022 Pisgah MTB Stage Race. I followed Tyler Clark down this until he dropped me. We were chasing Carson Beckett, who got away on the climb/hike a bike before the descent. Then Tyler sat up at the bottom to let me cross first so I could take GC (He was only doing a few stages of the race). Classy guy.

I was in Pisgah over the weekend and did the new black for the first time on Sunday. Got caught in a storm and the trail was a river but it was still bad ass and fun.
