Surprised they didn't really try to go after the bike park thing earlier on like Trestle, they're in a primo spot off I70 to grab summer business from Vail's resorts; and also just have a great terrain layout for mountain biking. Powdr seems pretty interested in investing in it as of recent...so maybe we'll be looking at something genuinely expansive in 5-10 years.

Do u have any suggestions on bike parks for beginners to intermediate ride besides vail?

@@Gus_Everett Snowmass is probably your next best bet for variety. They have good dirt and lots of great beginner/intermediate trails! Trestle is of course a famous bike park that I’d recommend checking out, but they’ve been making some of their intermediate trails bigger lately. They have some nice blue tech/rock though. I love keystone but I’d skip it as a beginner/intermediate

I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do there. We need more bike parks that are within about a 2 hour drive from the front range. That would help spread out the growing number of bike park riders a bit and shorten the lift lines hopefully. Trestle is getting old and making everything into variations of Rainmaker, which is lame in my opinion. Snowmass is amazing all around but it’s a long drive. Keystone hasn’t been updated in about 10-15 years it seems. Vail is my jam right now, with great dirt and terrain, and I hear they have plans to add more trails. Crested Butte is ok but needs more variety in the bottom half and is a long drive. Granby seems to be losing interest in keeping the bike park going. Steamboat desperately needs more variety. Anyway, cool video! Subscribed!

Agree with your comments! Vail is awesome. I rode there earlier this year and was super impressed. I can see copper being GREAT for beginners depending on how they execute the rebuild. I’m not holding out for any tech at Copper TBH but I’d love to be proven wrong. Snowmass is sick too but quite far. If you’re bored at trestle try riding the trails on the far left (riders left). Happy camper, dirty dozen, etc. I feel like people don’t ride there often

Btw thanks for commenting in subbing! Lmk if there’s a specific kind of content you enjoy, something new you want to see me do a video on, or any feedback to make my vids better! I’m planning to do some long term gear reviews this winter as well as some strength training vids.
