Trail looks a lot of fun. Wish I took my bike out there when my mother in law lived in SoCal. I have a Japhy also but my local trails are smoother than this. However, I managed to break the thruaxle on my Japhy just messing around doing wheelies in my yard. It’s the older version Japhy 2021 with non-branded thruaxle. I believe they’ve since switched to Wolf Tooth axle. I wondered if you had any issues with the thruaxle that came with your Eskers? These aluminum thruaxles nowadays worry me, seems to be a weakness in an otherwise rugged frame, built for backcountry bike. If I ever went on deep wilderness excursion on a bike, think I might take an extra aluminum thruaxle. The Esker axle was very thin aluminum and snapped into 2 pieces right at threaded end where it exits the hub and threads into the frame.

@@hongjiang3601 its and Esker Japhy hardtail with a Fox34 120mm fork that I custom built as a single speed.eskercycles.com/pages/japhy2024?srsltid=AfmBOorkbMJt9TFW8eCpZIPl3NrvYsVizrsuYcW3bpF8uReGjykZ8clm 100mm fork or rigid fork is fine as long as you are comfortable riding over technical terrain without the extra cushioning of a longer travel fork
