It's actually pretty amazing and admirable how damn close the film version was to the original performance, right down to very small details... If any actor ever earned an Oscar with 16 min of film it's the Rami Malek in the Live Aid scene in Bohemian Rhapsody.

PRÁCTICAMENTE RAMI hizo un gran trabajo. Hubo momentos en la película que me lo creí. El actor no olvidó ningún Detalle. Bravo RAMI.

What an outstanding performance by Malik! I’ve heard actors say that playing a real person is inherently difficult as it is challenging not to devolve into a caricature. For the Live Aid scenes, how Malik must have studied that footage! Every movement, every expression is spot on. But it is how he embodied Freddie as a man, depicting this amazing talent’s vulnerabilities that also helped make this an Oscar-worthy performance. Bravo indeed!

I don't get why people are giving Rami shit. I mean, unlike Freddie, Rami wasn't making everything up as he went along He was mirroring a legend with a furiously ravenous fan base. He also had to do this whole movie with his mouth full of prosthetics. Hand that man an Oscar already!!!
