Wow, Mike Conway did so well to anticipate & avoid that early incident between the two GT cars right in his breathing-space.. I don't understand how the penalties are awarded: here Julian Andlauer turned around Robert Kubica & got a drive-through penalty; but at Le Mans, in exactly the same fashion, the #51 Ferrari turned around the #8 which was in a podium position, & got a 5-second hold on the next pit-stop..

More broadcast issues in this race! Race start had no sound! Not the cars, announcers, or even the Also sprach Zarathustra! Just a lingering shot of the clock. Then you couldn’t hear the cars for laps unless there was an in-car shot! Then they made the cars really loud and shut off Graeme Goodwin. The flickering graphics in the leaderboard. And it’s just the first hour …. Glad I didn’t pay for this!

⁠@@namesii1880I will provide a timestamp for all of them. But I recommend watching the 24 hours of Spa to see production brilliance (too bad the sponsor screwed with the world). Or pretty much any sports broadcast. They don’t make this many mistakes! Until then here are all the issues I found so far. Several interviews called but no audio and even no video. Even Martin mentioned it when they interviewed Jenson Button. Shots of absolutely no sound. Commentators having audio issues. Empty shots of the pit lane (no audio here as well) Broken shots of racing. They show the battle, then switch to something else while the battle rages on. Highlights package had no audio. The flickering!!!! Incorrect graphics displayed That’s what I can think of without rewatching the race. And I’m only done with 4 hours … You can say what you want about me “over exaggerating” but if this was the paid broadcast, it wouldn’t be worth the money. Plan and simple!

3:25:19: That is not accurate. The Iron Dames car lost about 10 seconds somewhere in the last pit stop exchange. She came in 6 seconds behind and one lap after going back out was 16 seconds back which is exactly the deficit at this point some laps later. The 85 changed 2 tires on the stop. It is possible the Porsche did not change tires, which would account for the difference, or something else went awry in the 85's pit stop.

I feel it's more a case of him trying to bully others out the way like he would on a bike. They see the great Valentino Rossi and dive out the way. He's not going to be able to charge his way out this time. We see it in other Motorsport for a while It happened with Micheal Schumacher until Juan Pablo Montoya came in and showed the grid if you show him "no respect" you ironically gain it in the long term. Same happened with Hamilton and Verstappen, and whilst the fans online may berate each other, you can see they respect each other😊.

There was not a lot of drama at the front after the Toyota had the fuel monitoring problem, but there was a lot of close racing from second on back through the places for the points. The Penske #6 came back from a puncture and the 7 Toyota also came back through the field. Really good finish for the Peugeot who really needed it but the 83 Ferrari seemed to be gruesome on its tires. The Cadillac was nowhere, apparently due to brake problems and seems to be regressing.

@@Ohtechnik Nah their own class because they can run the speeds of the hyper cars. They can actually out run the hyper cars but just don't have the down force. Still their own class would make it really interesting. Never happen because its not cost effective for NASCAR. They sound better than any of them but I love the WEC and IMSA. I'm from the South so NASCAR is in my vains lol

Zandvoort, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Jarama, and so many others would be great, but there are only so many slots. Hard to argue against Imola and Spa.

When you see the dominant cars in Le Mans, behind everyone else by a lot, you know this BOP is a BS way to give away the victory to whoever. 🤌🏻🤷🏻‍♂️ Really infuriating, to decide the winner at the table, 1kg more or less, 1mm more restricted, 0.1 Bar less over pressure, makes the difference between 1st and last.
