So I'm confused. I just started watching the trans am series and so I'm still figuring everything out, but I noticed in this race there are no Dodges? I've seen that on a couple of these replays where some of the races have lots of dodges and some of them don't have any at all.

TA2 only has one Dodge. You want TA for the Challengers.

Yes it depends on the class racing but you'll see more Dodges in the TA class. This is TA2. You can learn more about the different classes here: gotransam.com/transam101/

You'll also see the CTS-V body in TA. If you ever get to see a race in person make sure to talk with Kerry Hitt he drives a CTS-V bodied TA car and his company has been making race bodies for a long time.

It's a problem for the Laguna Seca sessions as far as I can tell. Previous race replays didn't have such an issue.

I believe you are thinking about SVRA, they run with Trans Am at some races and were at Laguna Seca that weekend. They race a bunch of different groups and get shared coverage on the Trans Am app. Really great vintage racing. I think HTA was the group with the 1970 year Trans Am cars.

So many great drivers and personalities in the series it's hard to pick one. I like Michelle Abbate, Adrian Wlostowski and all the drivers with Silver Hare Racing.

A “huge” field this isn’t. Go back several decades and you’ll see starting fields approaching 40 cars. But I have hopes that, if the costs can be contained, history will repeat.

Trans Am should have 2 classes racing in one race. Just like they do in Japan where it’s the GT500 and the GT300 racing in that format.
