Restoration of all burned-out excavator at the construction site | Amazing Excavator Restoration Project
Excavator at the construction site caught fire and burned. We rescued it to restore it. In part 1 of the project to restore the excavator destroyed by fire at the construction site. We focus on dismantling every detail of the excavator, re-inspecting the whole thing, re-welding damaged parts and restoring the crankshaft.
In part 2 we restored the excavator's full diesel engine. It works very well. In part 3 we completely restored the excavator's gearbox. And this is the final part of the fire excavator restoration project. This part, we have completely restored it. All restored like new. Engine runs strong.
The excavator was badly damaged after the big fire causing a lot of difficulties for us. This is a challenge for us. Thank you for leaving positive feedback and always accompanying "DT Restoration". This is the motivation to help us complete this project well.

I agree with the previous comments for sure. Refreshing that there are still young people learning to have a trade. They have gold to restore equipment to be used again for far cheaper than buying new. They get an AAA+ just remembering where the parts go back in reassembling. Great video too! Sincerely thank you

An ancient hit & miss type engine on an excavator. I would not have believed it. Take this off and put a three cylinder diesel Kubota on her. I take that back, her motor is perfect. The seat back leans back a bit but you did great. A man can move more dirt with this than 10 men.

Подожгли умышленно, ради хайпа. Листовой металл не повело, медные трубки не поплавились. Обложили сухими банановыми листьями и подпалили. . Дали слегка обгореть, что бы краску легче было обдирать. Расходимся, нас опять наипали.😅

I love this. I do have one safety concern, however. You really need to use a torque wrench on rotating parts, like the crank bearings. You should use it on the head gasket, too, but that won’t kill you if it fails. If the crank bearing cap comes undone, the result could be the connecting rod punching through the side of the block and sending shrapnel flying in all directions. That could have fatal consequences for anyone close by, at the time. Otherwise, excellent work and I’d love to see more.

If there was any real chance of it coming lose it should be tied or locked in place. That’s the proper way

Зачем разбирают распределители в гидравлике, ничего не меняют, делают вид, что ремонтируют. Мотор тоже, разобрали, ничего не заменили, помыли и опять собрали. Даже дефектовку не проводити. На раме не срезают как попало навареные косынки, прутья арматуры.

Очень сильно напрягло, что покраска осуществлялась без заклеивания технологических отверстий и резьбовых элементов, шестерни и подшипники молотком забивал (то есть повредил уже при установке), сварка - это вообще ужас.

nope. stopped watching16 mins in, this is just another clean and put back together... No ports were masked off and paint from the spray going everywhere inside the motor, If and i say IF this had been in a fire, why did you not change the roller bearings>???? thats what they are there for, to be changed at every refurbish. This video is a mockery of decent rebuilds., and just made for vicarious watching with no regard for actual repairs
