It’s amazing how people constantly focus on what’s “wrong” with the Wolvy instead of what’s right with it. The “underpowered” 700 single has given me 4280 miles of thrills, enjoyment and superb reliability on the trails in six months of riding. Not to mention a 200 mile fuel range. Suspension is spot on for comfort. Its not a racer, sport machine or full utility machine, so why treat it as such? It’s designed for those who want to explore the trails for a day or days of riding and not worry about getting stranded. I’d be hard pressed to switch to anything else in future purchases, not that I expect to purchase another anytime soon. Yamaha got it right and should leave well enough alone.

My buddy bought a rzr and in 6 months he broke 2 a arms, 6 axles, transmission, and bent the frame so bad that the front drive shaft was rubbing through the wiring harness. He bought a RHINO and thrashes the fuck out of it and it keeps on going with no issues. You cannot say enough how well made Yamaha products are made.

I wish they still made the Rhino, they looked awesome, were the perfect size, and are bulletproof. This is pretty close though.

Only part I have to say u forgot to mention was the wolverines reliability I had a 16 r spec with zero problems Yamaha reliability counts for alot I have moved on to a yxz ss now and same goes it has been flawless with a 1000 miles so far

That's all we use up here is Yammys and Hondas with a smattering of CanAms. I saw a Polaris a year back when one of my friends had one, but after driving my Wolvy he sold it. I'm older and wanted something comfortable that can take the slow technical stuff in northern British Columbia and the Wolvy is the most comfortable ride I've tried, so bought it. Three years now, no issues or problems, 1000s of miles on it from meadowy swamps to the tops of mountains in the Rockies (some vids on my channel) the Wolverine is awesome!
@leemer14 жыл бұрын
I`ve seen your channel before. I`m in PG as well. I been into ATV`s for many years but stopped riding because all my friends moved/or got out of riding. I`m looking at picking up a new 2018 wolverine (dealer couldnt sell it) in the next few weeks and looking for riding friends again.

I'm confused why would you completely forget about Kawasaki Teryx two-seater has a dumping bed the four-seat is only 10 inches longer and they both have a 3-year warranty why would you completely drop it from the category

I got the 2016 model and love it. I had a 2009 Rhino and put over 27000 klms on it before trading it on the wolverine. Yamaha is a solid product all around but always has these stupid little errors they make in some of the non important parts. but i love their products.

i really like how it looks but im worried that its underpowered. would the ranger 900 be a better option?
@1kukini7 жыл бұрын
fmxinsane It’s underpowered if you focus on top speed and total sport riding. I have 4280 miles on my and never once have I complained on the perceived lack of power or top speed. It’s not going to win races against your buddies, but you’ll have a comfortable plush ride, excellent fuel mileage and a machine that will take you just about anywhere(if the Wolvy can’t handle it, you probably shouldn’t try it anyway) and get you home every time.
@coryr99387 жыл бұрын
Stick with Yamaha. The durability and quality will more than make up for the extra power, which isn't bad to begin with in the Wolverine.

I could buy a new vehicle for the price of side by sides and some ATV
@wildbill23c7 жыл бұрын
Yep, thank the sports industry for that. Once ATVing turned into a sport rather than utility the prices have quadrupled in price. I won't waste my money on an ATV or UTV. Also, consider the price you pay and the complete lack of a warranty. A 6 month to 1 year factory warranty is a joke. Then good luck getting warranty work done, they've created so many loopholes in their warranties that they can deny any warranty claim just because you got it dirty.
@richardprince26237 жыл бұрын
Kawasaki Teryx, under 12k and a three year warranty.
@wildbill23c7 жыл бұрын
Still way too much money for a 1/4 of a truck. Tried the UTV market, will never go back. I'll keep my truck and carry all, var more versitile than an ATV or UTV...and far less money.
@tmlfan63297 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's why me and my dad just bought a used ATV $1800 basically brand new and it's a 2001 Kawasaki prairie 400 4x4 came with a 2up seat, 3000 pound winch, heated grips, mud and snow tires, spare tires

Derrick Kimsey I couldn't agree more they completely dropped out the Kawasaki Teryx from the category and it should fall right in the same category as that the commander and general it has a 3-year warranty and if you looking for a four seater it's only 10 inches longer than the two seater I don't understand why it would be completely excluded
@bradyoung2526 жыл бұрын
Yamaha has discontinued this chassis and engine. They even discontinued the use of the 708cc engine the Grizzly 700. Don’t be stupid like I was and buy one of these things. It’s worthless now.

Hmm, 2017 and still using the 700 single cylinder engine...umm try again Yamaha. Missing a turf mode, or selectable rear differential for utility use is another huge negative, and deleting the dump bed, another negative...hmm yep another reason to go elsewhere from Yamaha. Their finance companies are nothing but a scam as well, bring cash, or finance through your bank, you may get a bit higher interest rate, but trust me don't do business with Yamaha's finance companies.
