Good video. Machine looks great .and the editing done well as always . Think those are 30k+ in cdn dollars. 64" wheel base along with the cost will keep it out of my wish list but cool to see some of the innovations. Thanks D.T.

I'm getting the impression that Dirt Trax is solely a Polaris/CanAm channel. I would like to see a lot more on other models and brands.

I have a Polaris ranger and a Polaris 4 seater crew. I really want a general and get rid of the four seater. Is that a good choice

Blake Nolte seems like a good unit. Everyone who has reviewed it says it is better than the ranger and commander in handling but not as good as a RZR

I bet the general is better in some aspects. RZR are not the best for everything!.... There is a reason they are in different classes. Blake if you like the General I bet it will do everything great, and you will love it.

In a comparison video the price difference is worth mentioning. In the review though pricing would vary by country and all the pricing is available on the manufacturer's website.

I am not sure I can keep watching Dirt Trax. It was overwhelmingly apparent that they are either paid by RZR or just fan boys of RZR. And yes i mean RZR and not Polaris. Every time there is a color change on a RZR they do a whole segment on it. But any other brands that make huge changes to there machines they don't get hardly any time if any at all. Then if they do a segment on it thats it, that machine will not be revisited for a long long time. Then they always compare other machines to RZR. I told my wife " watch, when dirt trax comes back on the first thing they will do is, review a RZR that they already reviewed" boy did i get that spot on. I wish I could just find a non-biased UTV show. If you like Polaris great, but your job is to review all machines and tells the ups and downs of the UTVs. Not is it better or worse than a RZR.

There are a bunch of reasons like, the difference in price, weight and width, but the main reason would be the intended use. The Turbo S is a perfect application for cross-country desert racing whereas the lighter and narrower XP Turbo might target desert and trail riders. It's a great question. I’ll put some numbers together. Stay tuned.

the roads you ride on have to specifically be marked as atv/atv routes. it is also not allowed to run none low pressure tires on an atv/utv on the roads. it goes against the description of atv/utv which specifies 3 or more low pressure tires for atv, and 4 or more low pressure tires for utv. with normal car tires on it, it no longer can be considered either atv or utv and will be illegal to drive even on routes marked for such use. it now will be an unregistered vehicle and you can get a ticket for it..... its literally the dumbest law ive ever heard of, but its the truth.

What worries me about all this "technology" is that electronics and water dont mix very well. I really don't want a electronic nightmare when that stuff goes haywire. Tech has made life easier in many ways...but throwing a computer into a pond usually doesn't end well. I try to buy the model with the LEAST amount of electronics and gizmos on it. Be nice if Honda or Kawasaki would start competing in the power department and avoid the high tech stuff. Be a good alternative choice for guys like me who want the power and want to trade the high tech for good old fashioned reliability.

Technology is where performance and reliability come from. It's hard to reliably make 168 horsepower from a 925 cc engine with a carburetor and distributor. Every time technology advances (fuel injection, ECU ignition, automatic transmission) there are people that say it won't work. Ten years later it's the industry standard. It's about time electronic controls were added to the suspension and not just the engine.

I didn't say it wouldn't " work". Im sure it works just fine. Stay on the trails and the pasture there will probably never be a problem. Its the crowd that drive into the pond neck deep as soon as they get it home that will have the problem. Like I said...go throw your computer in the pond as see how it works. Water somehow someway will always find a way into things. I dont drive in water up to my nose so I would probably never have a problem. However in the case I did need to I dont have a bunch of sensors and computers to worry about. Theres a difference between a throttle body fuel injection technology and high tech sensors and touch screens on a off road vehicle. Wanna see how that works out go drive your modern truck hood deep into the creek for awhile and see how long it takes for the service engine light to go crazy. Technology is great but it has its hinderances as well. If a person has no intent on driving it roof deep in the water then it looks like a great setup.

How about giving us some cost of repairs. With a 6 month warranty most owners will be on the hook for fixing Polaris’ glitches. What’s a shock worth, are they providing training to the dealerships on how to fix this crap when it shits the bed!

If it’s anything like the rzr I had it will be sitting broken in the garage for most of its life.. and I babied mine I couldn’t imagine the cost of riding like this for more than a day... and even if it’s under warranty the dealers wanna skip out.. just go to a Polaris dealership that has any other brand sxs sales and look at the service shop.. tell me what you see!

problem is the xx is so big. the body panels sit out so far. I like a tight body with the suspension sitting out.

@@dirttraxtv from what I remember from the commercial the guy is claiming there’s various recalls and issues with fires and all this stuff but it’s all things I’ve never heard of. It’s an off-road vehicle anything could happen sounds like he’s trying to appeal to desperate people to try to get rich
