Great Video...learn a few things bout e drums. Thanx I'm replacing my Donner DED 500 Pro e drums, keeping the module & Hi Hats w/stand. So far, I replaced, with Lemon, 13" Snare, 10" Tom and a 20" Kick. Also replaced Donner's 10" cymbals with Lemons (2) 15" crash, (1) 18" ride. Next e drums 'stuff' I will be buying is (2) Lemon's 13" Floor toms & Lemons 14" Hit Hats & ALL new mesh heads. Then I will be Happy Happy, Joy Joy...lol My Project, I got a Lemon 13" snare and only has 1 trigger in the middle. Donner has 3 triggers (no middle) in their drums. I like that, so I want to add 3 more triggers to my Lemon's 13" Snare UFO basket and was going to take the center out till you mention your input. Which now, I will just add the 3 plus the center. Also want to add. I see you using wooded sticks with plastic tips. I was told to NEVER use FULL Wooded Drums Sticks. From what I understood, Wood splinters and rip mesh heads. So a little FYI. :) Be Safe.

I would used Acrylic plate instead of the black plastic plate . I just turned my MAPEX drum kit into a 2 in 1 Acoustic / Electronic Kit that way i can still Play my Acoustic kit out side and play the electronic inside , I bought the Covering that you cover Subwoofer boxes with it is 2mm thick, you can buy it in Black or Grey Color. I had a spare 22 inch Drum Head, and I Used the Spray on Automotive Head liner glue non toxic worked perfectly. ( Note for the bass kick i also had the electronic kick from my old Alesis I used that took it all apart mounted the center piece PVC Ring cut out so that it can be screwed on to the drum head sounds great.👍

I have a set of shells sitting out in my shed doing nothing. Not likely to be used due to noise - this might be a way to resurrect them. Loving your channel! Subscribed.

In regards to the rim reinforcement ring, perhaps you could mount the trigger below that and use taller foam to reach the mesh

Thanks for watching-- That's a great thought and probably would have worked as well! Since I was testing an "out of the box" product, I didn't want to make changes to the product for fear that it might affect the triggering and made for an inaccurate review.

Do u think the tom triggers will work for octobans? I made a pair using Extreme drums triggers and I am very happy with them, but a want to make 2 more, and was wondering if the unlock would fit the curve of a 6 inch pvc shell. Thank u for this video, i enjoy watching your channel! Looking forward to the t 950 review

Great Vid. Looking at doing an A2E conversion myself. WorldDrummers is overseas, right? That's tough for shipping costs!

They are overseas, but they have flat rate shipping. I think it’s around $60, so depending on what you’d buy, it’s still a cost savings. Keep me updated if you decide to do the conversion, and good luck!
