Upgraded some of the hardware - mainly the snare stand, and brought my own hi-hat stand/kick pedal. Swapped the foam blocks for cones in the snare and toms, run it through an eDRUMin10 using AD2, and it's friggin' awesome. Can't complain. Even with mods etc still much cheaper than anything else resembling a full kit.

I love the size of this bass drum. I have a VAD 506, I love it but sometimes wish the bass drum was a bit smaller. Mostly for having the extra space.

Roland tries to do accustic sizes. Most other e-drum companies do have smaller full shell kits. Many of them are even better than the VAD 506.

Thanks for the review. Saw these on EBay while pricing out a Roland kit. Figured these were too good to be true. Even found a Reddit post where someone was claiming one of the head Engineers from Roland was working at Lemon. (Which I don’t think is actually true) Also, the name “Lemon” doesn’t inspire me much to try them out. Must not be a US based company.😂

What about the Millenium MPS-1000 kit? Would you guys be able to get one of those? I personally enjoy the fact you get individual outputs and would like to see a proper review? Definitely would be interested in purchasing one that I wouldn't have to wait several months to get. Thanks!

Millenium is Thomanns house brand so probably not.

I got the 11" crash and the China and they are awesome for the price... would not get the actual drums though...

The lemon cymbals are good, but the rest of the kit is cheaply made. The drum pads may work, but since they are cheaply made, they do not last. The hardware may not be the best, but for most drummers, it is adequate as long as you are not a super hard hitter. If you do hit rather hard, not only will the hardware move on you, but hitting hard will eventually danage the pads and shells. For a beginner drummer wanting a nice looking kit to save money on, I may recommend this kit, but for overall durability, only the cymbals are really worth buying.
