I returned my Trijicon RMR to get this in the green dot, so many more options, clarity, and I was able to buy 200 rounds of HOT MinuteMan ammo for the 10mm the optic is waiting for the plate to come from slow azz Springfield. This is an AMAZING green dot I have been playing with all the options and it sits low and it really has EVERYTHING a guy can ask for! I love how they blacked this one out. The options are so easy to operate too! Cant wait for Tuesday of next week I will be able to finially zero the 10mm beast in lol

Right on! I’ve loved my red dot version too. A fantastic option.

Just got a G19 for my first firearm, was a little aprehensive at the added size since it's my ccw and the total cost almost being as much as the gun to get the optic and slide milled, but after trying out a friends RMR I'm sold. My eyesight is absolutely terrible between astigmatism and nystagmus and the red dot helped a ton. Decided on going with the 508T in the green dot varient.

Glad to hear it worked out! The red dot is great for many reasons, hope you like the green version too.

I just got my 507c on my PDP ( video on my you tube channel if your interested) been doing some dry fire with it. Can't wait to get it zeroed. Jury still out on the circle dot..

We may check it out 😎 And it all comes down to preference, but that circle dot can be a luxury for people as long as they train with it. 👌🏽

I recently sent my G19X slide to get milled with the Glock Store. I choose the 507c. Now that I’m seeing how low profile this one is, I think I should have went with the 508. Too late now 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Tom! I currently use the Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite, I have both the regular and light bearing models. Fits with the optic and is compatible with suppressor height sights.

Hi, nice Vid.. did you 19 come with front Serrations and you got them cut differently?
@RangeDay
@RangeDay 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rickey, the stock G19 came with only rear serrations, pretty plain. I got the Down arrange cut from Jagerwerks that you see in the video! It came out great and you can find a full video on the process in our channel also! I wanted to get this version but they make them with smaller buttons now that are on the side next to each other horizontally. Would have preferred this one but could not find it anywhere.....

The version I have is the 508T-V2. There was a bit of a patent/copyright struggle between Holosun and Trijicon when those optics released. I ordered one early but it got delayed for shipping for months due to the legal problems I suspect. No formal resolution terms were publicly announced but Holosun then changed all of the V2 product lines to the X2 versions. The button layout changes where one of the notable differences. Unfortunately the V2 series with the vertical buttons is no longer made.

Thanks for the videos. Did you use any plates for the optics? If so, what kind of plates ?thanks
@RangeDay
@RangeDay Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! No plates here. This optic mounts on the RMR pattern footprint and the slide was milled to match this directly. No plates needed, usually offers a more secured fit.

The grips on this particular setup are the PRO granulate material from Talon Grips! They’re not the most abrasive texture but they’ve been a solid addition for me.

You probably have the X2 or the original 508T. The V2 was an odd run of optics with the unique button layout, Holosun had to switch it after some legal troubles.

I’m not sure of any specific models, but any adapter plate taking you from SIG Optics or Delta Point Pro, to RMR footprint should work.

Let's talk about battery life That's shake awake is meant for people that put it next to the bed at night If you carry your pistol on the daily whether you have a CCW or open carry you can expect your battery to last a month maybe two. If you work the graveyard shift and have no solar power to compensate you will get far less! This is how you know these guys don't actually use these optics because if they did they would know
@RangeDay
@RangeDay Жыл бұрын
I carry my pistol on the daily and I’ve had the optic running on the original battery for around two years and it’s still going strong. Results may vary for others of course but I have no reason to doubt the battery life from my experiences.
@ssharma1384

@ Caldwell , No , the battery lasts MUCH longer than your example , in either case . Maybe your battery and/or unit is a dud.

I have a $150 Crimson Trace red dot on my EDC, and even that cheap optics battery has not died on me in the 2 years ive had it. And it doesnt even have shake awake. It stays on 24x7. I bought the 508t x2 for my p229 legion and the battery is legit.
