I had a '71 f250 that same color in FL back in 2005. I put MSD ignition, full-sized headers with 2.5 inch dual exhaust, & a 600 Holley Street Warrior on a dual pane Weiand intake on the original engine (only had 48,000 miles). Dyno'd at 308 hp 378 tq with just those bolt-on parts

My brother inlaw had a 79 f100 dodge yellow with a 302. We had so much fun in that truck . He had a 4valve out of a mark 8 and m90 supercharger for it but he passed away b4 we got to it.

Craig ever think about relocating the gas tank to add weight in the rear end or is it to hard. I am thinking of a fuel cell mounted in the bed with a cover over it so nobody can see it . Its a lot safer.
