What kind and size of paint pen was used on the Brees helmet? I have had really good success with fine deco in black. LT was streaky with the fine. Thinking about trying the broad with him next time.

Is paint pen better than sharpie for all autographs or just helmets?

A paint pen is usually great on most items. Have to be careful on glossy items and make sure you let it dry properly. Baseballs may be the only exception. Most people prefer ballpoint pen on baseballs

Those matte black eclipe helmets, are they the same value as the normal Authentic helmets? Or where do they stand in price?

They may be about the same price, because typically the matte helmets are replicas (not authentic on field). However, if you find a matte AUTHENTIC ON FIELD it would probably increase the price.

I'm assuming the answer is yes, but is there added value to a helmet if it has a more specialized signature than just their name? For example, the Brees helmet you showed, he added "career passing yards leader". I also have a helmet I got off your site (thank you!) that's a full-size Thielen helmet with his signature and the added inscription "Undrafted to unstoppable". Just wondering how something like that could affect the value of the helmet, thank you!

Inscriptions almost always increase the value of the item! Part of the reason is it costs more to have them add inscriptions when signing the item and part of it is because it makes the item more unique! Great question!

2 days ago I saw a replica (I think) helmet for the cardinals signed by edgerrin james. It was full size and off of pristine auction. For some reason it only sold for $42 and I'm super confused. If someone knows why it was so cheap please tell me. The authenticator was Radtke btw

How can you safely and properly store signed football gloves?

Anywhere out of direct sunlight or behind UV protection. May want to use a sheet of tissue paper between the signature and whatever it is stored in as well to make sure it doesn't get affected during storage.

Price really depends on the athlete! We've got plenty of cleats and helmets on our site. In addition, you can search past auctions to get a feel for how much they go for!

What about Riddell RK 2 pre-1955 suspension helmets. BTW that was not the helmet that Roger Staubach wore while with the Dallas Cowboys. That's more like Eddie LeBaron or Don Meredith's football helmet with the Cowboys. Roger Staubach joined the Cowboy's in 1969, which means he was already wearing the silver helmet and not the white one that you have. DO YOUR HOMEWORK CORRECTLY. 2:08

Great question! Most people get Nascar helmets signed on the visor/shield in paint pen or a good sharpie that contrasts well with the color of the visor. Just make sure you allow it to dry and try to make sure there's no static electricity if you're using a paint pen or the autograph might bubble! We've got plenty of examples on our website or properly signed nascar helmets! Feel free to take a look!
