Great video Adam! The two big upgrades that I like the most are the drawer and the hidden screws on the control panel. Love the way that it is shipped as it looked well protected compared to a GRS arcade that came poorly shipped with lots of damaged artwork. Looking forward to the build video!

Amazing how quickly you unpacked those boxes, Adam! 😋 A couple of years ago, I built one of these "tankstick" cabinets (from the old owners' company, apparently). And I too went with tempered glass over the supplied plexi.... 100% worth the upgrade, clarity-wise. As far as the artwork, I was able to order what I wanted when I ordered the cabinet itself (for an additional fee). The artist that they had did a great job creating custom artwork for the cabinet, the control panel, and the marquee. All-in-all, it was a great starter arcade that I ran Steam games on (through Launchbox/BigBox). And I was able to hook up my old Xbox One & Nintendo Switch to it, using connectors and switches. I think it's a great way to get an arcade cabinet without spending a ton of $, assuming you already have a computer available to use. 👌

@@timbowers839 if you didn’t want to wait you could easily just leave the top half off a regular extension cab and wall mount the TV for an EASYMODE pedestal. Save the top half if you change your mind later…

Ah, rewatched the video and it is obvious that you are talking about the 8-ways when you mention the switch to the Eurojoystick. Yeah, that is probably a Happ Super or Ultimate up top in 4-way mode.

I would love for them to do a 4 player. Great product. I love how wide they are and roomy. As for the particle board , as long as it’s 3/4 or 5/8, it’s heavy enough to make a solid arcade. Lastly , all good abkut the build process. Good idea to do it separately.

@@therexershow I own a 4-player recroom cab, got it about 6 years back now. 4 big adults it's a bit tight but with two adults and two kids, perfectly fine. Works great for emulating Gamecube and Wii 4-player games - which is about all my kids play.

Great video. I noticed a couple of things watching your video. 1. There appears to not have a shut off switch for the Navigation buttons to turn off the lights. 2. How are the joysticks and trackball mounted? Are there screws holding them in place on the inside of the control panel? The old RRM had bolts going all the way thru the control panel surface thus holding the joystick and trackball in place. Wouldn’t that be a more secure design than having bolts hold them in place from the inside? 3. I like the redesigned keyboard door. 4. I am Not a fan of the fact that you, the buyer, has to apply your custom Artwork yourself. I would hope they start offering that service as well. 5. I like the fact that you are given an LED Marquee light instead of a Florescent light. 6. I like the speaker placement change and Monitor placement adjustments/change. For me as I own an original RRM cabinet, the only nit-picks are the artwork is self installed not installed by RRM. And wouldn’t having the joystick/trackball under mounted be less durable than the old way of mounting them thru the top of the control panel?

Yeah, removing the button to kill the admin led button lights is a tiny let down but under mount style hardware for that clean look has existed for a long time and it feels really solid. I wouldn’t think twice about letting my kids or anyone in a public space beat on it. Should hold up about the same.

Anybody built a cab with the Black Melamine ( particle board not MDF )? I am on the fence with buying some of this from my local lumber supplier, I'm starting to build cabs, just wasn't sure how it compared to regular MDF. I just hate painting MDF and I am not able to get Black MDF in my area... whomp whomp...
