Goddamn that was the most awesome defensive anti artillery/tank weapon I have ever seen.

The Trophy does use a bullpup warhead, but the blast is vectored straight down. The result is that the fragmentation is confined into a small area with a consistent pattern, making every shot a known factor that's easy to account for in advance when dismounting troops or operating near noncombatants.

That's an awfully messy, violent, and ridiculously overcomplicated approach to active protection, even compared to Raytheon's failed "Quick Kill" system --- look at it's lethal radius, and see what I mean; watch?v=Pnl2698Xkqw
