The OP's decision to end the marriage was totally worth it because it makes no sense to stay in it when it's non existent and never will plus she is better off co-parenting with her ex husband for the sake of their children and that's more important in the long run for sure, no doubt about it.

Amazing how when she wanted to go to counseling, he said no, but when he got caught He wanted couples counseling. Been there, went through it.
