"Traditional housewife" It's basically similar the conservative Christian version of a stay-at-home mom. The difference is that trad wives are required to make everything from scratch and to be fully submissive to their husband's. Plenty of KZbinrs have gone in depth into this trend and why it can be harmful

He needs to tell their patents that she has shamed him by being rebellious and lazy. Like Christianity, a Muslim husband is the head of the household. BTW, every decision in our house has been made jointly. If we can't agree then my husband gets to make the call since he is the one who has to answer to God for our family. When she quit her job she was rejecting his authority over her. He could ask her and the parents what punishment she could be given for her disobedience. In Muslim countries that could include beating with a rod or lash or even honor killing. If the family wants to hold him to "honorable" Muslim standards then she needs to be held to the same ones. If I was him, I would be assigning her a chores list every day that took 8+ hours to complete. If she's not working then sell her car and remove her access to "his" money. She's staying home she doesn't need money or a car. Make it so that she has too much work to watch TV or hang with friends. Make her responsible for following all Muslim rules for wives. She'll be begging to go back to work! (I did something similar with the kids over bad grades. None of them ever failed more than one class 😂.) Oh, and I've been married to the same man for 47 years. I worked before we were married and am about to retire. 🎉
