My only conclusion from watching this is that there must be a hereditary mental illness in MIL's family because both MIL and wasband seem to have it. The fact that a single hour-long conversation could make him go from excited about being a new father, to literally hating his wife and having no feelings for his child, is absolutely wild. He is easily suggestable and everyone should be grateful that neither a cult nor a serial killer got their hands on him.
