That's probably is what's gonna happen whenever my grandparents die on my dad's side. I have a aunt that's basically burned all bridges in the family even though through the years many olive branches have been extended. I've only seen her twice and my 2 cousins from her twice or three times. I scared one of them off one time just by being there for the summer to help out like what I do when I have the time to stay long amounts of times. I'm planning to live nearby when I graduate college to help them out often and I even offered if my grandfather died id move into the back room area and pay rent to still help out as it's a farm and stuff always needs done.

When he was 18 he cut contact and came back after few years with his pregnant GF and expect them to help with raising his child. Of course they helped because that's what they were doing for him all his life. He was low contact with family and only visited for ocasions christmans etc. He was only coming back when he needed money. He caused many problems for my grandparents and lolice came to their home many times because of him.Fortunetly he cut all family about 10 years ago and didn't contact any of us since then. But I bet he and his children will come back as soon as my grandparents will be dead for the inheritance. I guess they will be suprised when they find out that they disowned my uncle and all his family 😂
