This man is an absolute professional. Uses stuff/materials & tools that I never knew were used and does stuff that is so clever. Never seen anything like this before. Any company should be honored if he's using their products. Should have stickers with his name next to his installs because they're all customized masterpieces. With most newer cars its not good to have power connected, or turn on the ignition while the seats are disconnected and out. The airbag sensors might cause the light to come on. And that airbag light can't be cleared with alot of scan tools. However with this vehicle I'm confident you wher aware and understood every aspect of the install. Truly master Level skills and top quality.

Any video that helps get wire where it needs to go, I’m for! Liked the way you ran the wire in the car, cleaned places not easily accessed and showed routing for wire with those industrial ferrels for the pass through to the engine bay. Those guys keep wet out of boxes in the factory. First time I’ve seen them used on a car. Good vid Mark! Lots of helpful stuff!👍🏻

Yes I would like to see a video on how you would run the speaker wire through the door. My 2005 Jeep Library had a hardness cover and I couldn’t run the speaker wire.
@ixionn5635 жыл бұрын
I ended up using grommets and bypassing the factory door grommet, the way they designed it with connectors at each end makes it impossible to run 14 gauge speaker wire through. Apparently it's easier if you disconnect the grommets first but I couldn't get the damn things off. I have an '05 Dodge Ram 1500 (Chrysler makes Jeep, Dodge, etc) and it's the same deal. Be nice if someone sold door grommets so I could put a second set in instead of having the wire visible.

YES, WE NEED A VIDEO ON DOOR PIN WIRING. I’ve been looking everywhere for over a year trying to find a tutorial on how exactly to run through doors on newer vehicles, especially those that don’t have empty pin locations that could be drilled through. I have a 2016 and I’m using factory wiring because I’d rather not remove my doors to run wire, granted I’m running less than 75W per door.

Just a thought. If you had a small enough amp for the door speakers, couldn't you splice into the factory wires behind the stereo and mount the amp back there too and then just run the sub amp to the back? and how would all that work if you have the factory deck and need to have an aftermarket preamp output through the factory speaker wires still? Can that be done if you have the aftermarket door speakers amped?
@domls13174 жыл бұрын
Do you have to crimp the ferrules after you slip them on the wire end with a tool? Or do you just slip them on and then install on the amp and the screw just presses it down?

My Pioneer amplifier manual shows that I need two fuse holders in parallel using 30 amp fuses instead of using one 60 amp fuse. I suppose I could put two 30 amp fuses inside one fuse holder but I haven't looked into that. Anyway, I haven't been able to get an answer as to why this is the way the manual says to do the fuses for the power so I'm asking you if you know. Getting two fuse holders mounted close to the battery in my 2002 Mustang GT would be problematic. It's a Pioneer GM-A6704.
