I love using elemental barrage with his latent power to just shred any shield. It's so much fun and helped me so much. Deffo is a strong latent power, in my opinion.

It’s even better when you have someone use Sealticge’s Seduction onto him as you then have a shield shredder to all enemies, especially if he’s boosted to max.

@@AT-qm8gv what's nice with Sealticge on Temenos is not only does that enhance his shield breaking capabilities into AOE but it comboes really well with the other skills. Like full team Prayer for Plenty is mad broken lol you are not dying with that shit

Fun fact! Sacred Shield, while it says it only reduces the damage one 1 attack will reduce the damage from all hits of a multi-hit attack. This can be very useful on Osvald for mugging, as enemies you duel have a set pattern of actions. If you know the big 5-10 hitting attack is about to be thrown, put up the shield, and watch Osvald laugh as he takes basically no damage and heals himself right back up!

This guy's coerce is absurdly easy if you give him Armsmaster and the merchant's full power passive. Use his latent power and six fold strike (no boost). That's six shields down and if there's any left a boosted basic melee should finish them off.

So today i figured out you can capture bosses with Ochette as they rare spawn in dungeons you defeat them in.

@@s4ad0wpi Yep. Its also recomended to have a skill to find rare monsters. They are random spawn, so it can be a bit nasty if you go there with underlvled team once you finish the boss for 1.st time. Gona try to tame that stupid dog next that was a nightmare in octopath 1. Boss skills are pretty decent for those that i got: Elesomething -- heals whole party for 8000 hp each Dragon -- debuffs The one from underground cave -- reverses the debuffs into buffs, super usefull

Also, you only have to damage those bosses into the yellow for Ochette to capture and pick up and easy win.

Hmmm I personally love armsmaster Temenos and I think he's the best character to use that job along with Throné for a couple reasons. 1- You're point about wanting it on character that wanna kill stuff is that this kind of character aleeady have stuff in their base job kit to do so so armsnaster is usually redundant to their kits. 2- Sixfold strike works with sealticge iirc so you can make that shield break aoe. 3- You actually glossed over his best skill. The staff skill. It scales of elem atk so if you build him with high elem attack its basically Hikari's divine but that you can use Sealticge on because its not a divine skill to make an aoe nuke if needed. That attack is immensely powerful if you really build his elem attack. 4- You dont need to spam prayer 40 time during a fight. And you can just use blessing on himself for flexibility so he can either deal a ton of damage or heal if needed at the end of the turn.

Armsmaster Temenos using Sixfold Strike + Latent is pretty good at breaking. Focus on elemental attack and equalize it with physical using using Arcanist's 'Of Equal Might' support skill. Elemental Barage does the same job as Sixfold, but I'd rather have the cleric utility and every physical weapon over elemental nukes. I wanted a paladin and this is pretty close.

I think Elemental Barrage grants more breaks overall at max, but yeah, Sixfold works better in general and Selticge’s Seduction combined with it means you have Winnehild’s Battle Cry that breaks shields which is pretty ridiculous.

Use this combination for farming Caits/Octopuffs or one shotting enemies with Heavenly Shine: Vigorous Victor + A Step Ahead + Boost Start. Temenos will get the first turn and you will have 2 BP which means you get a 3x charge off on the first turn to either wipe the enemies or severely damage them, with Caits and Octopuffs, magic will always hit them making this an ideal method to get some good EXP. Vigorous Victor will assure that you will get some SP back after each fight as well.

Temenos was choice for leader. I use him as a buff provider, combining his original class with conjurer. It needs a dancer, but this can provide so many buffs to the party they become untouchable ( even more with the right support skills )

The best staff for him is the sunshadow staff. You aquire it by waiting just outside of gravell in the night for about 2-3 minutes then coerce the boy that walks out of the town. He is good though, so just spam elemental barrage with judgement or spam lightning blast with advanced magic. I'd say you'd need about level 45-50 to get the staff.

I fell terrible. I play slowly and I don’t get a lot of time to play at all so I’m still doing the story part of the game but I’m almost done, and I’m still locked to my main. And Temenous somehow got left out of my A team and B team. He’s the only character I have to constantly grind to level up. I feel like I’m not using him to his best ability. Maybe because I have a great offensive team set up and a setup my planned out post game team with the other hidden jobs and he’s just not on that list either. I like him as a character and his story was interesting and entertaining, but I never looked forward to when I put him on the team. I’m gonna make it up to him lol

Temenos coerce is surprisingly easy mid-late game. Give him Full Power so he starts with his latent power filled out and make him an armsmaster. 6 shield hits will break most enemies with the first attack, and for the few that don't break, you can follow up with a boosted melee attack to whatever they're weak to. Haven't found a single person so far that this hasn't worked on. Good for nighttime information gathering and saving money that would otherwise be spent by Hikari.

Heavenly Shine is the ultimate one shot anything. Hit three times for max damage. Can set him up to act twice as well and do 600k damage in a single turn rotation. Bonkers.

I have been trying but am unable to get the damage very high on it. Even with 600sp it still feels kind of weak so I am working on it but I want the ultra spirit bomb attack build

@@purplatypus7405 It also relies on magic down on the enemy and magic up on yourself and need to use the 1HP cheesey stuff for increased damage when hp is lower. I don't particularly like using that setup but it works

Why do people think Temenos + Osvald is good? It just seems like wasting class slots if you have them both running Scholar + Cleric. I'm waiting until I get the Arcanist or Conjurer classes to start running them together.

Temenos Scholar + Osvald Arcanist is a great combo. Have both get 3 BP, Temenos buffs Osvald with Alephans wisdom Proceed to shred with Osvalds huge selection of spells that are fully boosted. Alternatively even if it takes a bit longer can set up the double nuke. Breaking foe after buffing both with Alephans wisdom. By that time should have 3bp to use for the Ultra Nuke.

I found dancer temenos to be very valid Sealtige + prayer for plenty + sacred shields + defense buff= everyone not needing heals for a while Tho i dont know how relevant it is in endgame cuz it is a bitch to set up

I wish Heavenly Shine had some kind of multihit mechanic instead of one strong hit, something like 1 extra hit per 50SP. It feels like his latent power has so much potential, but is completely wasted on his role. Having Ochette or Hikari with this would be 10x stronger imo.

It does synergize with advanced magic so you can cast it up to 3 times per cast so its actually pretty busted I think

You can increase the hits with Advanced Magic and Alephans. The SP issue isn’t that bad either if you have boosted Arkhar’s Coil or even Share SP.

Lol what do you mean weakest latent? If you use temenos with elemental barrage of scholar that's one of the best boss-breaking abilities that you can have for most of the game

Being the weakest does not make it bad. It's just weaker than what other characters are offering a lot of the time. Early game it's decent but it gets weaker the longer thr game goes on.
