Don't drop it too low! You need room for the car to squat down when doing pulls, especially if you plan to take it to the drag strip when that opens it'll squat more. Any plans on a fuel system? We got a guy here making factory drop in hats supporting 1100+ on the 5.0s, he hasn't found the limits of them yet

The little circle dot on the side of a new high performance tire is where the Valve Stem is supposed to line up, the tire manufacturer does that so you can get a better balance. Raise of hands if you actually knew that ? Cause they didn't line them up here.

Thanks for the review on the Toyo R888R! I’ve been putting off my next stage of mod’s as my new “Sport Cup 2” tires are stickier than “Super Sports” I had, but w/ my mods I’m making 800 HP and it’s spinning like crazy. I don’t want what I had with my Camaro ZL1 which had too much power and it was pointless as even with drag radials on street it would spin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear so street driving was no fun.... I’m ordering R888 now - my issue is my Z06 Corvette is 345 25/20 tires... Toyo does not make those but I think I can go 335 or 325.... Thanks sir! FYI: BEAUTIFUL car... Probably one of my top 3 mustang’s I’ve ever seen as the curves are all in the right places and go together well. I also would have NEVER choose that color, BUT - I think it looks awesome on your car. You clearly have a better eye than me!

The Toyo R888R tires I had on my old C6 ZR1 making 940 WHP handled the power quite well. There was still some spin but nothing I couldn't handle....Thanks for the Video.

Didn,t get into the rev limiter that I could see.I could not come near that hook in my 620rw Terminator,running 275 G-Force drag radials at 28 pounds on the street.Second gear 40mph stomp would put me sideways and into the 7500rpm revlimiter in a flash.Love the look of those meats.

I have a 3v 427r with a VMP 500 kit and some secret sauce sprinkled on top. Problem is, I can't do anything but rolling starts for pulls because I have no grip. Tried diff tire pressures... the BF Comp2's on there are pretty much hockey pucks. I need a set of tires like these.

Oh, as for the oil catch can, the reason the drivers side never has oil in it is because that's actually a PCV intake. Passengers side is where its sucked out. I learned that while ago and it makes so much sense why oil is never in it now. As for why your's is filling up? not sure, might be the actual PVC and not the catch can letting out too much pressure? Good luck on finding a fix, small stuff like that drives me nuts.

Nate Rider I make 1000 whp on a twin turbo setup on a 2018 GT A10. I’m on 17’ ET street R’s right now so thinking about making the switch as well. How wide is your wheel? I was gonna try to squeeze the 345/30/19 and I’ll have to reun about -1.9 camber. Stock camber is like -1.4. Right now I have it just about zeroed out, but that won’t be an option now. Are you having to run any camber or stock camber? How does it do on asphalt highways? Not sure if you were in concrete or asphalt.

R888R are a road course, circit track, lap time tire not a drag tire as atated in their own words. Also these work well if used as a drag tire on vehicles over 700 hp.
