Oh I love the full throttle. I’ve only been there once. Right before the big fire. I didn’t know they moved it so far from the old sight. Humm!

I used to watch it All the time. Years ago I started watching, That's what actually got me into Jackyl, Jesse, FTS, Michael n Angie etc etc. Jackyl is my favorite band now. Lately the ONLY FTS shows I can get are the reruns from back in like '08-'10 or 2012?? I don't know where, how to get any of the newer ones. I love watching them. I'm still watching the old reruns... Thank You

Off 94 before you get to Sturgis there is a camp ground called Elk Point. Quiet, peaceful and abandoned. My favorite place to stop to have the dogs run wild. They do too!

🙋♀️I loved seeing Full Throttle Saloon! Very unique place! The Cowboy with a ice cold draft with a head on it in 1 hand, & a stogie in the other, sure says bikers welcomed here! Beautiful cross made out of metal, the 3 bikes, & all the other sculptors, just awesome! What a way to spend a beautiful day! 👍

I did the Sturgis Rally in 2019 and rode all these roads. The Bear Butte State Park was maybe one of the highlights of my trip up there...

Thanks Russ for the tour of the new Full Throttle Saloon. I’ve been to the first Full Throttle twice but never to the new one. I didn’t know they moved it farther out of town. I thought the new saloon was built in the same location as the old one, thanks for clearing that up. In February, my wife and I had booked two Campgrounds in Sturgis for the rally, but cancelled our trip in May when it looked like the Coronavirus was not going away too soon. So thanks for making the trip, I know all these places you are visiting and I love watching your vlogs. Be safe, stay healthy and happy trails. I’ll try and look you up in Quartzsite in January. Our camping group does two weeks out there during the RV show in January. We stay at the La Posa Tyson Wash.

He always does does a new metal sculpture each year. I love that. It was sad when the place burned. He said the fbi showed up to check out the place. When they found out he was his own insurance company they said oh ok. And they left. So that all came out of his own pocket. He did manage to find out what caused the fire. It was a wire plugged to a extension cord. Shoved too hard with something in front of the wires plugged to the wall. When they left it should have been unplugged but somehow it was over looked. It took him a few months to decide if he would do it. He was very discouraged. Angie talked to him and said what will you do with no full throttle? He had to figure out how to pay for it? I think the Covered place is a place to put the bikes In case that’s there’s another hail storm like the one year. I can’t remember the year it was. I think that might have been the one we went. It was after we left at the end of the week.

Thank you so much for making this video. I am a big fan of the TV show. My wife and I are both retired. We don't even drive motorcycles..We were just curious how the new bar looks and if it would be worth a trip from Central Texas to come see it during one of their rallies. We normally go on cruises for vacations and was wondering if going to this place would be as fun for us to go see. It's good to hear that the new Full Throttle is metal building now instead of wood. Thanks again for your time and awesome video 👍

That Full Throttle is quite a place. "the world's largest biker bar" title definitely fits. Rumor has it that they can get 20,000 patrons in and around there. Wild. The pipes on the ceiling bring beer from the taproom. Same idea as the Yard House. Good food and brews.

Russ those towns look very scenic, would be fun to explore if I ever get the chance. Did not know anything about the Black Hills until your video. I am curious what it would be like to go through there in the dead of winter. googling around I see other towns like Deadwood and Lead that look so pretty also, hope you stay up there a while but whichever way you head, happy trails. Thanks for sharing.

Fun fact: the Buffalo Chip facility is outside Sturgis city limits and jurisdiction. The property owner has had the place incorporated as its own township which prevents it from being acquired by other govt entities and for liability purposes.

My dad had a summer seasonal seashore business from the 50s through the 80s. We made all our money for the year in 6 months. We worked night and day, maybe getting one day off once in while. I know that place has a few things in the summer but they must make 80%+ of all the summer money those 9 days. I would not get near that place. Not a mask in site I bet.
