Don't worry about reveling of the bunker, modern wars is much deferent from the ones we had in the past. Now it's about new technologies and allies that can help you win the war easier. The greatest mistake of ojukwu was fighting alone without help from any world power. May the souls of our brothers and sisters that died during the war rest in peace Amen.

@@SaBata802 FYI Ojukwu already accomplished his aim, captured all the regions he hoped for and they were already carrying out sufficient administration of these regions. Rather than hold out, develop more strength and create more grip on the regions he captured, he decided to approach Lagos to capture Gowon and the entire Nigeria, obviously this made Nigeria become more brutal and fierce in the way, leading up to the blowing up og the Niger bridge and subsequent famine in Igboland. Ojukwu destroyed his own ambitions

@@elvisnnachi1777 we dont know that. We will never know. I don't work with guesses but facts. Ojukwu was already administering a whole region, they even had their own currency 💵 and was recognized by the Brits. The Yorubas were reluctant, they never wanted to join the war rather they wanted to separate too. But Ojukwu attacked them and declared that Gowon must be captured. Everything changed and even Britain withdrew their support. This is the fact bro.

All Hail Biafra. Biafra must be restored because Nigeria is not one and will never be one. Nigeria is truly a mere geographical expression according to "AWO" .concord by President Tinubu that Nigeria will never be one. Why are we wasting time, the Yorubas and the North already know that Nigeria will never be one. Due to terrorist tendencies of the North, and West, they don't want peaceful separation via referendum.

So with all the money in Igboland . No one can set up a Biafran heritage Fund to maintain these edifice and other items of Biafran history. Look at how this place is looking abandoned. It should be maintained so that future generations of the Igbo can be reminded of the struggle and the galant efforts of the Igbos (both Civilian and Military) to be free. I am not Igbo and i am very disappointed. The memory of Biafra must be kept alive because there is really no future in Nigeria. Any Igbo man that thinks otherwise is absolutely in denial or naive.

What is needed is not necessarily a prayer but people working together as a people under one nation, Nigeria, without regard to differences in tribe, religion, gender and other differences. Nigeria is endowed with diversity and if Nigerians tap into that diversity, they will, in a very short time, become one of the greatest nations on this earth. The nation was moving in that direction of greatness before the civil war, that many in the world believe, was unfortunate and unnecessary. But the nation can still take its place in the development line if Nigerians would find it in themselves to learn from that war but not let it define them. No nation ever became great without dealing with internal problems but tearing the nation into pieces, badmouthing and demeaning your nation, expressing hatred towards fellow citizens, not accommodating and respecting differing opinions on issues, refusing to work as a team, running away to other nations in search of elusive wealth and fulfillment, etc are not ways to get to that promised landing. Nigeria has all it takes to make it a great nation. This generation must thus work to make so. If they do not, their children may have to watch as others do it for them and that is just not a good endowment. So Nigerians, drop your resentment of your country and commit to doing your part to make it become like the nations you read about or pack and run to. None of those nations got to where they are now through prayers. Goodluck!

This bunker is a masterpiece of engineering of the time, the Biafra engineers dod a great job even though i disagree that it was built within 90 days. Ojukwu and his advisors were absolutely wrong for matching their troops towards Yoruba lands. The Biafra soldiers attempt to capture Ore is what emboldened and angered the Yoruba leaders/soldiers which made "the black scorpion" Benjamin Adekunle, Obasanjo and others to mustered their efforts and deals with Ojukwu and his Biafra soldiers massive and decisive defeat. Ojukwu realized his costly mistakes seeing that he was about to be captured or killed cowardly retreated and escaped to the Ivory coast in exiled.

This building needs to be taken care of by the governments of the core Igbo states. Plus the tour guide need to be more professional in his presentation. I remember this bunker during the war, though never seen it or been there.

Most of those civilians captured by Biafran forces from their “enclaves” mostly in the Niger Delta never came back alive. The world needs to be told the story of the many civilian casualties from the Niger Delta who weee murdered by Biafran forces

Na mumu dey worry you. Nothing like Niger Delta before the Biafra war. Ojukwu was the governor of Eastern region ( Biafra ) which includes modern say South South. Take your grievances to Gowon because he is still alive.

@@Nicelooking101-1 The Niger Delta existed before Biafra. Niger Delta is a people and geography first officially catered for by the Niger Delta Development BOARD (NDDB) established in 1961 based on the recommendations of the Willinks Commission. Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro declared the Niger Delta Republic in February 1961 long before Ojukwu declared Biafra in 1967. Biafra only emerged in 1967 while the Niger Delta existed before the British. You need to educate yourself and not rely on what you have been fed. The political definition given to the Niger Delta in the 2001 NDDC Act is misleading. It’s not a geographical definition. Now, the point remains that the story of the victims of the Biafra war from the Niger Delta region who were captured by Biafran forces needs to be told.

@@longstandingemperor5009 Biafra is a nation that onces existed before the creation of Nigeria in 1914. Any time you have the opportunity to make international travel outside the country, you will still see the location of Biafra on the screen on your front seat. White people are not stûpîd to leave it because they know that the nation will rise again and they will not spend millions of money to reconfigure the flight electronic system.

@@Nicelooking101-1 It’s the Niger Delta that existed before the creation of Nigeria. Biafra was only created in 1967 but the ethnic groups that made up Biafra existed before the creation of Nigeria. You still haven’t addressed the main issue.
