Maine is awesome! I lived there waaay back in 1979-80 as an exchange student. Some of the best people I've met are from that state. Good fishing too! Speaking of that you should have dropped a fly line into that river...

@EndlessAdventure, would love to see you guys have a tiny home for your home base when you come back to the states after traveling. I could tell how much you loved it. What an incredible spot! So beautiful! Quick tip with the diesel, make sure you let the glow plugs warm up.. turn the key to on, but not start.. you should have an icon that looks like |~| on the dash, it'll stay lit for a few seconds, as soon as it turns off, then start the truck. More useful on the colder days, but then you aren't fighting to get Chuck the Truck going.

Great film. A year ago I put a new starter motor on my motorbike, and, like your experience, it transformed it. No more anxiety about whether it's going to start or not. I think all van lifers should buy a plot of land somewhere and (if permissions allow) build a tiny house or cabin to rest up from life on the road. Would look forward to watching if it happens.
