16:50 dealing range, you can wait for price to retrace to that bearish breaker and have a much tighter stop

Dealing range is a range that took out buyside liquidity AND then took out the sell side liquidity. What a definition! Is this not a breaker pattern!

Just as a note, you can’t add and subtract RR unless your stop loss size is equal for every trade. You can have a stop loss of 2 and make a 3RR trade for a profit of 6. And a stop loss of 12 and lose. Under your RR addition and subtraction, you would say you are net plus 2RR, where in reality you are -6 units. Basically, you can never have a positive RR if your trades are net negative units.

It depends on your "prefered" dealing ranges within lower TF, doesn't need to enter on the 15 min precisely, market is fractal. I use Weekly/daily TF just to get an overview of the draw of liquidity and imbalances. I enter on the 1 min exclusively

@@wrestleciz6345 don't try to pick the top or the bottom, trade the retracement or try to mark up imbalances zones (support for the market) , then you can enter from there after having some confirmations

Does it matter in which order the buyside and sellside is taken for a given narrative? Example - Bearish narrative - Sellside is taken, price pushes up and then buyside is taken. Are we technically in the dealing range for the push down for the bearish move? Or is that an orderflow issue that would likely keep us out of the trade. Vice versa for a bullish narrative. Thanks. The vids are amazing.

I was following you very easily until 13:50 when you stopped showing the dealing range and stopped showing how your entry tied to the dealing range. It doesn’t appear to match. Incredibly frustrating. Also, given the universally accepted concept of premium and discount of the dealing range, why would you ever short or long a dealing range to begin with? Also, the dealing range is the leg that swept the high and low liquidity, yet you are showing an entry on the swing low or swing high that was swept? So, in effect, you are shorting in a discount and taking longs in a premium? Isn’t that totally contradictory? In essence, you are using the previous swing high or low that created a new dealing range as basically a continuation trade. I agree with your basic approach and also believe you need to define terms, but what you are showing seems to be in conflict with universally accepted ICT trading. I mean, the purpose of knowing your current dealing range is to define premium and discount. If I’m misunderstanding something or missed something, please let me know. I’m a big fan, just not sure what you are teaching here or how to correctly apply it. Thanks!

Ok question. Your first example. Let's say price doesn't come and fill that FVG within the next candle or next few candles, meaning that what you planned as your premium array (your 3rd candle's high) has been replaced by a new candle high. Would you keep that FVG as your discount array, and just update the new candle high as the new premium? Or would you scratch it and look for a new setup?

Another Masterpiece Sir.. ❤ Just remembering stuff I've learned about STs before n combining those with this concept of TRs gives me this insight that after wve defined our HTF context then we go down on a LTF n so closely watch price's approachment into the PD_A n whether it gives us a beautiful Hot n Sexy ST or not n if it does w take the trade without any hesitancy n fear why bcz we've gotten everything we need right n powered them all in the Risk Management principles we've already defined too.. n also you know what the beauty of it all is this fact that all of this sh..t is F Fractional.. 😇 My Goodness Man .. Same is true for the dealing range and entry at 16:15. You don’t show the DR and don’t show how the entry is tied to the DR. Quite frankly it looks like you are totally randomly putting an entry and totally randomly picking a target so far away without any discussion on the many earlier targets. The video was pretty strong, and then you just started doing random stuff like you complain about “other” ICT KZbinrs doing. Very frustrating and confusing. The purpose of a training video, is that given a set of candles, we should be able to mark out the same areas of interests / entries IF WE LEARNED WHAT YOU ARE TEACHING. The 13:50 and 16:15 are not tied to any DR that I can see. When there are a possibility of 3-5 DRs in the area and you randomly draw an entry, we have no idea what you are doing or why. This is the opposite of how you are describing your teaching … very frustrating.

Why not just build an EA on this particular strat? Should be profitable at the end of the day, right? 🤔
@benshiotsu8553 Жыл бұрын
That's not how that works. You need human imput.
@Arjoio Жыл бұрын
I've been working on making an EA for some of my trading plans actually, but like Ben also said some human input is required most of the time. I think having it fully mechanical without human input can be detrimental, that intuition we have is where our potential is as traders I believe It's a very interesting topic to me, being too mechanical is detrimental in my opinion, but being too subjective as well. Having guidelines and around 80% mechanical trading is the perfect balance. Then trying to code that into an EA is difficult because that 20% is left out in a sense Loved this question hahah

At 16:40 you show the entry from the delineated DE, but the whole purpose of the example was to short from the HTF FVG, which in this example, the candles have lower time frame candles have disrespected. Are you advocating / teaching to short from HTF FVGs that have been disrespected by LTF candles? You can’t be teaching “Continue to take losing DR trades until you have a winner, even if your entry idea is wrong.” While I understand that on the Daily Timeframe, the FVG might have been just wicked and ultimately respected, that does not work on the LTF. I mean you have to see something that tells you the bullish bias has changed before you’re shorting a DE out of a discount. It seems reckless to short a DE when the HTF entry idea has been disrespected and you are shorting out of a discount, so your stop losses are huge. That would seem like your account would just be quickly wrecked. If you are just showing DR trading, then you at least have to mention that the FVG is not valid or why you are still trading short with the HTF FVG disrespected. Not trying to come across negative, because I am a big fan, but just pointing out some confusing and therefore frustrating ports of the teaching video.

The very concept of "sell side" being lower and "buy side" being at the top is ridicoulus. It´s a market, if prices are low you buy, if prices are high you sell. Other myth about it is the concept that there is an algo out there driving prices to run whatever stops are in the wrong positions. Check your facts.
